Yes Linehan was a Garrett hire.

Look, I've spoken to the Romo family many times over the years.
All I can say from what I understand is this was old news several years ago and it wasn't anything bitter at all.
It wasn't dbag behind his back (or direct thru the media) stuff either. It was man to man (and even friend to friend).
I'll go no further than that.

Very hard to refute that, one way or another. If you're saying the coach and the player have respectful disagreements, I'd say that's pretty likely. I'd also say it's likely happening in 31 other NFL cities.
