San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey is out for the season with a torn biceps, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Dorsey injured his left arm at practice Friday and left the field after being attended to by the training stuff.

Dorsey was hurt on his 29th birthday. He is set to be a free agent after this season.

Sorry but the part in bold is a serious pet peeve of mine. The muscle is the bicep, not biceps. "A biceps" is horrible, horrible English, and I hear/read it all the time.
