IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer returned to practice on Friday morning after missing Thursday's session. Spencer, who hasn't practiced since having left knee surgery on July 25, was limited in practice on Wednesday. Cowboys officials said Spencer's day off was planned, but it's still concerning he's practiced just twice since training camp started. "He hurt his knee early in training camp and try to get him back as quickly as possible," coach Jason Garrett said of Spencer, who had 11 sacks in 2012.
