IRVING, Texas – Monday is the first day the Dallas Cowboys can put the franchise tag on wide receiver Dez Bryant. It would be nice if the Cowboys knew the exact cost of the tag, but the NFL has not set the 2015 salary cap yet so teams are estimating how much it will cost. The best guess right now is $12.5 million to $13.5 million for wide receivers. The Cowboys will have until March 2 to put the tag on Bryant or DeMarco Murray if the team and the receiver reach an unexpected agreement on a multi-year deal.Continue reading...
