Cowboys must find way to get Cole Beasley involved in offense

FRISCO, Texas -- Through four games, the most-asked question regarding the Dallas Cowboys' passing game is about the Dak Prescott-to-Dez Bryantconnection.

Bryant has 16 catches for 212 yards and two touchdowns, but he has been targeted 40 times. On a few occasions it hasn't looked as if he and Prescott have been on the same page.

But a more pressing question about the state of the Cowboys' passing game might be: Where's WR Cole Beasley?

Through the first four games, Beasley has 11 catches for 86 yards on 20 targets.

In the first four games last season, Beasley had 23 catches for 279 yards on his way to career highs in receptions (a team-high 75) and yards (833), and he matched his career high in touchdowns (five).

"You hear it from other coaches: 'This is going to be something we've got to be mindful of,'" offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said. "So they put top players on [Beasley]."

Need to get Beasley the ball. Or get the ball to someone else freed up by those covering Beas.

The only thing we need to do is establish the run game. Our OL has to be better and with them struggling the coaches have to better gameplan.

It all starts and ends in the trenches. Win the line of scrimmage and you will see Beasley, Witten, Dez, Zeke, Dak etc. all make plays.

We have 5 first round talents on the OL and a 3rd round guy. 6 deep, no reason to struggle

In order to win the cowboys must:
  • Get the ball to Beasley
  • Run effectively with elliot
  • Limit turnovers
  • Keep the offense on the field
  • Covert on third downs
  • Distribute the ball
  • Don't force plays
  • Get after the quarterback with sacks and pressures
  • Tackle soundly
  • Don't commit stupid penalties
  • Have situational awareness
  • Run to the ball on defense
  • Get positive yards on first and second down.

Absolutely sir.

Chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken, mash potatoes with cream gravy, green beans, okra and jalapeño corn bread with some sweet tea. Pecan pie and coffee to finish it off

The Packers will have a tough time stopping the run....so, run the ball down their throats...then watch the other offensive weapons suddenly become open. That seemed to work last yr. The Packers aren't the Broncos...they are very beatable.

On a few occasions it hasn't looked as if he and Prescott have been on the same page.

Opponents are on the same page as well.

Dak and Coach Red Clapper Butt Slapper (or whoever runs this predictable offense) must turn the page.

agree with this list CO, but is may have been easier on your fingers to just type "get legitimate coaching"
