IRVING, Texas – Even with only a slight chance at being one of the top two seeds in the NFC, Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett will rest players for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Washington Commanders. In order to get homefield advantage, the Cowboys need to beat Washington, have the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions tie in their meeting and need the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals to lose. Even with a loss to the Commanders they can still get a first-round bye .
