IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys will not wear their throwback helmets for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Oakland Raiders, but they have not determined what jerseys they will wear for the game. At the recommendation of the NFL’s Head, Neck and Spine Committee and the Player Safety Advisory Panel, the league is requiring players use the same helmets for all games during the season. The Cowboys have worn a white-and-blue star helmet dating back to the franchise’s beginning.
