Do you think his 0 interceptions, 0 forced fumbles, and just 1 passed defense this season hurt his chances?

I wonder if the lack of forced turnovers hurt him in some way.

Yes. A lack of splash plays.

But the coaches and players should know better. I'm hoping it was the fan vote that failed him.

They should separate the types of OLBs. Maybe they will now. He'll be first in line to replace someone injured. Hoping he's playing in real games and not the Pro Bowl though.

Yep. He's going to be nominated for the Pro Bowl. I expect someone will beg out due to "bogus" injury. But we want Lee, Dak, Zeke and company not to even have to go to the Pro Bowl because they're preparing for the Super Bowl. :)

Of course it did. Its the only stat that people who don't watch games look at.

It's the same way with corners. If you don't have interceptions, then it's hard to impress the voters. But interceptions don't take into account that maybe your coverage was so good that quarterbacks don't even look your way or even think about throwing the ball to the receiver you're covering.

I'd rather not have any Cowboys playing in the pro bowl. Just a meaningless game that you have a chance to get injured in.
The Cowboys should refuse to let their players participate in it.

The game itself is pretty much unwatchable. Just announce the players that were voted to it and stop right there. Heck, probably half the actual roster that ends up playing in the game are actually there because of the "real" pro bowlers begging out or participating in the Super Bowl. You rarely hear of player injuries in the game, but why take the risk?

More like lack of sacks. The lb spots go to 3/4 lb's who have sacks

This tweet really hits the nail on the head, I knew it was extremely unlikely that he would go because the pro bowl is usually dominated by 3-4 OLBs as opposed to 4-3 OLBs happens every year. They really need to either lump 3-4 OLBs in with DEs or maybe allow 2 3-4 OLBs per conference and 2 4-3 OLBs as well totaling 4 OLBs.

And meanwhile, the morons who run the Pro Bowl continue to make a place for fullbacks when most if the league doesn't even use the position, or if they do, they use it sparingly. And Mike Tolbert makes yet another undeserved appearance.

They only make themselves look bad with this stuff, not anybody else.

Fans of other teams just look at those kind of numbers ... along with sacks. They don't watch other teams' players enough to understand what kind of tackling machine Lee is.

I'm not sure what hurt him, but you can't watch other teams around the league and see better LB play then what we see every Sunday. Him not making the probowl is about as big of a snub as I can remember.
