ARLINGTON, Texas -- Henry Melton was the Dallas Cowboys' big name free-agent acquisition, but the defensive tackle did not start Sunday's season opener against the San Francisco 49ers. That honor went to undrafted free agent Davon Coleman. "Just wanted to get Henry worked into this stuff, try to work him in on second and third down," defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli said. "He didn't have any live contact." Melton did not play a snap in the preseason as he worked his way back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament sustained in the third game of the 2013 season while with the Chicago Bears and a groin injury suffered in training camp.
