I don't care how the season unfolds to be honest. I'm hopeful of a playoff run and a sb ring of course. But all I want is for Dak to continue to show he's a franchise qb.

The lack of his name being mentioned in camp tells me that we're fine in that regard. The only reports that I've seen are that his "trademark accuracy is on display" and that he's "gotten better in the pocket and throwing over the middle of the field."

Can't ask for much more than that, given the rookie season he put together. The league is in trouble.

He's obviously going to be more aggressive so this is when the INTs start to show up in year two. But let's just hope that we have more explosive plays with some more of the interceptions.

I agree, I think his stats may take a hit with more ints and completion % probably goes down. However, I think he will be a better QB this year. He will likely pass for more yards and we will see more wow plays. Hes going to throw some balls he wouldn't have last year. He will still be pretty reliable in protecting the ball though. Momma taught him well.

^^THIS. Remember now he wasn't a good practice player last year. But I'm hearing he's improved immensely.

I think he'll double his INTs (8 over a season, my god) and increase his passing TD totals, and maybe rush for the same or a few less.

Overall, his total QB rating and holistic play as a quarterback will be better. We also have more weapons with more rapport -- Dez, T-Will, Sauce, Big Witt, Rico Suave, Swizz Beatz, Brice (he needs a nickname).

Add in a better OL with Collins and Zeke in a second year playing as a veteran instead of pressing early like he was last year? The only thing that will be able to beat us is our defense...and I think we'll surprise in that regard too.

He's not nervous now. He's calm - it's his job, he knows the work he has to put in. He's growing and maturing before our eyes (in one year).

Romo played for us until he was 36, and had a brittle body. Dak, by the time he's 36, will hopefully have started for 13 years in a Cowboys uniform without a brittle body.

Going to be wildly problematic for the league if we have Dak for almost 20 years and continue to draft well as we replace OL and skill position players. He could have a better career than Brady.

32 tds 9 ints 8 rushing tds 4450 passing yards, with this oline and experience 69% completion. I believe our offense will be more explosive

I think 4450 passing yards is a bit much. 3800. We'll have a lot more rushing and we'll play on a lot of short fields. The new pups in the secondary will take the ball away a lot this year.

I think Dak will have another spectacular year. It's part of the process as he slowly emerges to become the face of the NFL. I've already noticed that for some of the promotions for the upcoming season on the NFL network and Sunday Night Football Dak already has coveted slots, like his celebratory fist pump ending the NFL Network's promo.

Maybe, but I'm counting on Dez to have a huge year, he has some chemistry with dak now and the last few games they heated up. Rico is the x factor in this

Dak last season at MSU he had 5 ints 1st year in the NFL he has 4. I don't expect Dak will be throwing many ints, seems to have a good head on his shoulder about not forcing balls.

This is where I'm hoping for the most improvement. Many of his passes to Dez last year looked forced and jump-ball type throws. If he can get on the same page as Dez and improve his ball placement they could rack up some monster numbers this season.

Dear EGG---- it is common news that Dak does not throw a ball with the velocity many of the good QB's do...and i know the reason and its an easy fix...watch him before he throws his legs are already too far apart so there is not much room to step into the throw and transfer the weight from back to front foot...i have no idea why they have not corrected this?...its an easy fix...just start with feet closer together which is easy and then step into the throws and the velocity will be much faster the accuracy will be better and control all of that will be better...do not understand why he has not been coached to improve this????

I think of Wade Wilson about the same as I thought about Jerome Henderson: Time To Go Yesterday! Hated Henderson and I'm mucho unimpressed with Wilson and his work.
Vinny Testeverde helped Romo out more than Wilson in his career and he wasn't even a coach!
