Is this contingency plans or are they worried about Free's leg, or Tyron's bicep? Scary!

more worried about what they have in Weems IMO

That's what makes the Chaz Green pick a bad one at least now. They knew about his injury history at Florida and should have known about the hip. It might payoff in the future, but it's one of the few gambles they have made lately that hasn't had success, and now we are pressing.

Mills RT only.

I am beginning to worry about Free's recovery from 2 surgeries in the past 2 years.

Churn, baby, churn..

I may have this all wrong, but, I cannot recall how the Cowboys churned the roster as much as they have been doing. The time I do remember was last year when they had 298,764 players brought in for the defense. Or, was that the year before? lol

But, since the Cowboys have had the worst defense in NFL History, it seems that someone has started to really churn this roster and it really looks like it's paying off.

he got the hip injury during mini camps he didn't have that when he was drafted. the injury history was his knee i believe in college.

They've been churning like this since Garrett first took over. He started in on the OL, and it's just continued from there. We've got fewer trouble spots right now so they're getting all the attention. Maybe that's why it seems like we're doing it more.

Such a welcome change from the Wade Phillips days when we had that perfect roster that no other players ever had a chance of making...

Yeah...you might be right. Things have really changed since Garrett took over. Getting rid of high priced players and bringing in some hungry youth is what I think I am seeing now. This is not going to be your dad's yesterday's team that is for sure!

They might not win the SB this year, but whichever team they play better be in for a fight.

They look like they're concentrating on only bringing in the young guys, too, when it comes to taking fliers on these guys.

You never know how an NFL season is going to turn out. We didn't really get the chance to see all our guys playing together in the preseason, but it sort of feels like these coaches know what sort of team they've got and that they're just saving it up for the games to count. It sort of feels to me like we're about to wake up from a long sleep and start banging some heads.

I wish we were playing PHI in PHI a bit later in the season. What we do is not likely to have changed all that much, but I'd rather we had some tape on Bradford and their new offensive skill players to figure out what they're doing. If we get by them and the Giants early, though, it starts the year out with a bang. Maybe that's what we need to really get these young guys rolling.
