The Dallas Cowboys have an interest in free-agent defensive tackle Henry Melton. A source said the Cowboys, after creating $7.4 million in salary-cap space by releasing DeMarcus Ware on Tuesday, would potentially bring Melton to Valley Ranch for a visit. Melton, 27, is coming off surgery to repair his left ACL, and it’s uncertain what type of money he would get on the open market. Last season for the Chicago Bears, Melton played in just three games before suffering his knee injury.
