DeMarco Murray: Happy with Titans, no chance of Dallas return

...

"That was all speculation by social media fans and obviously, people talking about the whole Dallas deal," said Murray, who was acquired by the Titans in a March 2016 trade with the Philadelphia Eagles "I'm happy here. They're happy to have me here. I've been fortunate to be a part of the Titans organizations for the last two years and I see myself retiring here and being an asset here moving forward."

...

"That's been circulating every year since I left there," Murray said to the 'rumblings' report. "The chances of me going back there is probably closer to Roger Staubach coming back and playing for them."

Trust me, he would love to come back. He's a Dallas guy (personality-wise).

Why are we even concerned? He’s happy and so are we.

I doubt there was ever anything to it to begin with...when both are healthy there's just not enough touches available to keep featured backs happy, not to mention the $$$$ involved.

I can live without him unless he came here and played for very cheap. He's got hamstring injury so he's in midseason Cowboy form, lol.

But seriously I can live with Dmac, Morris and the other guy till Zeke gets back.

I was a fan of him but with all due respect....Cowboys have two other guys here of the same caliber. I don't think they want him back.

He deserved to get paid like everyone eise.
I have no problem with money grabbing, and I enjoy the right to never root for, or want him back for his betrayal.
I'm a fan, he's a player.
I'm sure he would have been paid by another team, also.
Hell... I bet the Cowboys weren't THAT far off in negotiations...

That's exactly what I would say knowing the Cowboys had zero interest in trading for me. Murray wouldn't have said that if there was any truth in that rumor.

There is no doubt that the Eagles paid him more than we would have. What I wonder is if the endorsement deals would have been better if he would have stayed in Dallas.
