IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant dealt with a sore back during practice this week and there was a thought he might need a pain injection to play in Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
A source said Bryant doesn't need a shot in his back and should be fine for the game.
Bryant has dealt with back issues in the past. He took a hit to his back in the 2012 regular-season finale and needed a wheelchair to leave the stadium because he was in so much pain. Bryant said the back issues he suffered in the Week 2 loss at Kansas City are different.
