News: ESPN: Ex-(Cowboys)-QB Mark Sanchez arrested, faces three possible charges

Anyway he really made a bad decision and screwed up his life and family. I guess this was his post retirement butt fumble. I hope he gets it together for his safety and his family. No excuses to act like this.
My experience is that when issues like this become public, it's a continuation of deeper and/or ongoing issues behind closed doors. In other words, there are apparently some personal challenges he is dealing with.

Yeah sounds like something from an old Jim Croce song
But what does it have to do with Cowboys football.

Nothing better to talk about in the middle of the season on game day but Mark Sanchez who was a quarterback for us ages ago for about 15 minutes
Sheesh

Dang, someone on the other thread actually said he was getting arrested, they knew someone on the police force. I wish I knew who it was to give him credit.
That was my post but I was just referencing something from the Colts subreddit :)

Sanchez is seen running after (the man) and the video shows Mr. Sanchez grabbing and throwing (the man) towards the wall of the Westin," police wrote in the affidavit.
The fight continues in the alley between a large dumpster and the truck before moving toward the middle of the alley.

"Mr. Sanchez is then seen throwing (the man) to the ground on the west side of the alley," investigators wrote.
The man told police he reached into his pocket and pulled out pepper spray and sprayed Sanchez, but the former NFL quarterback just wiped it away.
The man thought, “This guy is trying to kill me,” so he pulled out his knife, and when Sanchez came at him, the man struck him two or three times with the knife, he told police.
The man was 69 years old and deaf.

The incident seems to have started because Sanchez was barking at him and the dude couldn’t hear because he didn’t have his hearing aids in.

Ahhh ok. I was literally telling my coworker what you had mentioned then like 5 seconds later Sanchez was arrested.

Of all the hills to die on, stopping the changing out of the fryer oil is definitely the one.

Aww..poor Mark. No shortage of people willing to make excuses for a public figure, even when they show you they're a garbage human.

Well, he was intoxicated so he obviously has a substance abuse issue

Why? My wife rarely ever drinks, like ever...but about 4 years ago out of nowhere she got hammed...like puke and pass out level of hammed. Not everyone who has a one off kind of night has an issue. This is just a low key excuse for bad behavior.

If you get intoxicated, assault an old man, get stabbed and go to jail because of your behavior while intoxicated is an indicator of abuse problem

He’s had run ins related to alcohol going back to college, including sexual assault charges.
