He should be suspended for a game. If they can do that with the union & all.

Where is my friend ccboy who could explain how the military would handle this? ;)

A game at the very least. Let me pose this question to you and I usually dont pose to no one escept to Ms. Busty: If you or I walked away from our jobs, guess what kind of bonus we'd get?

Garrett said it would be handled in-house, and he has no obligation to explain what he means by that. I'm glad Mo manned up and went back and admitted his mistake. We need him against the 'aints.

We need him? Really? Colston, a guy who has been pretty quiet all season, would hope you feel this way, and put MO on him, or maybe Brandin Cooks? Stills?

We would be better off with Alan Ball. MO can't keep his hands to himself

I expect players to get fined and demoted, I expect guys who continue to act in a way that is detrimental to the team to be released such as the TO situation. I don't defend Mo walking off as he did, he did show up at Garrett office that night to discuss the matter he has stood before his team and apologized to them for his action and will be handed a fine. I would consider this over with now should Claiborne present more problems then I would expect him to be released. I have no issue at all with any coach or player not airing their dirty laundry to the press, it is an in house matter that benefits no one by running to the media

This is my question. After seeing how both Jimmy and Landry acted, do you suspect Mo would have had the gumption to leave the facility? Truthfully, Dooms.

Yeah, Mo, BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO ANGER JASON GARRETT, FEARED BY COWBOYS PLAYERS!!!!

Moved on? Jason Garrett should move on for being a milktoast.
That guy might be football smart but for once he need to kick someone's rear to make a point. I'd fine Mo, suspend him from one game and then announce publicly that unless there are injuries, Mo will be 2nd-string for the forseeable future. That is the least this milktoast of a coach could do.

Man he (Garrett) make me mad!

I agree. Garrett seems too politically correct and trying to please everyone. The saying goes that if you try to please everybody, you end up pleasing nobody. This is the case with Mo.

Its time that Garrett be tougher on his players. He talks about accountability, yet he hands out these petty punishments as though they mean something. He should be a no nonsense kind of coach that the team fears. Stop being friends to players. Stop dating your starting QB in public. It doesn't win games and sends a bad message to the team.

How did 'handled in house' become 'not handled appropriately' in the minds of some of you guys? It'd be amusing if it weren't so logically adventurous that my brains didn't automatically rebel at the thought of anybody taking such a leapt-to conclusion seriously.

After reading what Mo said after he came back, Barry Church's comments, and Jerry Jones' pre demotion comments about Mo, and adding them up it is not hard to see that this has Jerry Jones finger prints all over it. In Mo's defense it is not hard to loose your cool if you feel you are a scapegoat,

Remember the "sometimes __ can affect a QB's rhythm" thread?

I'm pretty sure Garrett could say he had a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast and that would reaffirm to some of these guys that he's a terrible coach. "Jimmy would've had eggs and toast!"

Would you rather throw a rookie out there to those wolves? Mo is what we have right now.

It has been done before Duane Thomas was a problem and without knowing what took place once Mo returned that night to Garrett office we really do not know what was said by both. Right now Mo has stood up before his teammates he has apologized for his actions. Damn we have had guys do worse than that and continued to play.

I'm all for handing down a fine and no issue with the demotion but frankly I think some of you go overboard without having all facts. This matter is being handled in house that is where he should be done and that is where other teams take care of business. Not with fans or the press.

Claiborne has some growing up and manning up to do. But I am not opposed to letting him do it. Too many folks want to take a free kick on this guy now that he's down. I was a day one skeptic on this pick but there is an unseemly ugliness going on 'round these parts regarding him.
