Are you serious? How does losing help this organization? I take it that you have never played in any kind of competition? the object of any kind of competition is to win, am I right or am I wrong? I do not understand you younger generation, I tell my son all the time I hated and I still hate to lose at anything and that anyone that is okay with losing is a loser and they will never win in life there is no such thing as a good loser, or a good loss. That kind of thinking is the most idiotic thinking that I have ever heard. This country was made great by people that hated to lose.

There is never a reason for the players, coaches, or GM to lose on purpose. However, there is no doubt that one bad year has sprung a bright future for some teams. Indianapolis comes to mind. When Payton was injured, they gained Luck. Of coarse, not every team is so lucky (excuse the pun). Top 10 draft busts happen all the time.
