ESPN hates us this week

Makes sense actually. 8-8 teams are hard to predict. So, they're following the trend (see Seattle game last year).

Logic says we're a better team. Recent Cowboy craziness says nothing's changed. Let's see what happens today. That said, Cowboys win 24-13...logic prevails.

If you're going to bring up out 8-8, why not the Chiefs 2-14? I'm not saying they can't or won't beat us, but at least judge them the same way.

People who complain about no one picking us, are you expecting us to come out and play our best? if we do we win, but recent history suggests we probably won't come out playing our best.
When is the least time we just came out and beat and team we where supposed to beat without shooting our selves in the foot and making a game up if?

I agree! But, our team has not shown consistency for a few years now. That's what will stick in an "analyst" mind. They'll view the Cowboys as that same unpredictable team until they show differently.

Shoot! I need therapy after watching games. I root, shout, and scream, all while anticipating someone messing up.

Most home teams get the edge over the Cowboys because of their reputation of not living up to expectations.

For the record, I didn't complain about the ESPN picks. It makes sense to pick the home team in week 2 after they looked great on the road in week 1.

It also doesn't mean we can't make noise or even win the Super Bowl if we lose today. KC could wind up being a great team themselves.

When I say they "hate" us this week, I mean they don't think we're going to win. Not that they literally HATE us.

But if we DO lose, the media reaction won't sound like we were expected to lose... it will sound like we were fully expected to win.

Same thing if we crush KC today. We'll only get credit for doing what we were supposed to do, even though nobody expected us to do it.

Even Vegas has KC by a point and halfish. Maybe I *am* a homer. I can't see Dallas not being favored to win this game given the QB imbalance alone. I guess we'll see, soon enough.

you get three for being at home, so on a neutral site, we'd be 1.5 point favorites and at home, we'd be 4.5 point favorites. Consider both were non playoff teams last year and the upgrades KC made at Head Coach and QB, it's not far fetched.

Andy Reid is well respected. New HC, new QB, over 30 new players on their roster... this isn't anything like the 2-14 2012 Chiefs.

I'd honestly rather watch "The View". And I'd do that right after exploding my own ear drums and sticking red hot pokers in both my eyes.

Exactly! I never watch those Sunday morning jerks. They're not entertaining, they're stupid, and they're always grinding some ax. It's sad considering how far down that group has fallen. They've become very ugly(on the inside).
