They don't have anything better going on right now, I guess, to write about the Cowboys then to write about some rumor about Harrison being signed here.

Wow.

which player would have rather have thrown at in a crucial playoff game..

crayton or harrison?

harrison is clutch, crayton is a choker.

Harrison is done, only a team in dire need will give him a shot, he cannot do it anymore.

yes he made one bad play, he is a choker.

I got in a wreck when I was 16, clearly I shouldn't be allowed to drive a car.

If Jerry didn't want Glenn sitting on IR all year getting payed why would he want to sign Harrison?

People can say Harrison > Crayton but at the end of the day Crayton will play and Harrison won't

two in the same game. drop on a 3rd down when he had ZERO defenders around him, maybe could have scored but otherwise it was a easy first down. second was the pattern he GAVE UP on! He just stopped his route for NO reason. otherwise that was the winning TD catch!!

it was an option route and he and romo weren't on the same page.

completely different than what you are saying.

the other was a drop.

so freaking what, he as been solid and clutch for a long time.

the whole hate crayton thing is stupid, the guy has been great for us.

he made some great plays in that game too, I rewatched that game and crayton had some very nice plays, and one goal line catch that was all desire and heart.

there is zero reason to write the guy off as a choker. except for jumping to conclusions based on no where near enough.

I would like to sign Harrison--I don't think he's finished quite yet. I bet he has at least one more year in him.

"but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible . . ."

This can be used as justification for any and all rumors.

It's not likely Dallas trades for Bouldin and Edwards before opening weekend, but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.

It's not likely Dallas trades for Peppers, but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.

It's not likely Jones is actually a space alien and the new Dallas stadium is actually a disguised galactic battle cruiser, awaiting final instructions for world domination . . . but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.

Actually, that last one makes sense.

DUDE MONEY!!!!!!!!

Pretty bad option route if one of the options is to stop running it, Crayton didn't make a cut or anything he just stopped. Even Crayton him self has admitted this so why are people still trying to make excuses for him?

Toomer Ahead Of Harrison On Watch Lists
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/07/02/toomer-ahead-of-harrison-on-watch-lists/

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on July 2, 2009 7:34 PM
On a day when Americans learned how far the job market has sunk, one out of work receiver received his own bad news via NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora.

Speaking on Total Access, LaCanfora said that talent evaluators around the league believe that Marvin Harrison "may be done." They are rating other free agent receivers like Amani Toomer and Joe Horn higher than Harrison.

The league's new information man reports that Toomer has fielded calls from a few teams and is high on several teams' "emergency list."

Toomer and Harrison's inability to find work is yet another reminder how fast things can change in the NFL.

Just last year, both players were starters on playoff teams. Now they are angling to be the first person called when some late-round draft picks tears a ligament in August.

There is considerable doubt whether Harrison even wants to play football again in a reserve role.

But it sounds like the choice may be made for the future Hall of Famer.

This Message was from the ESPN the Insider Rumor Central page.

There seem to be a lot of possibilities lining up for Marvin Harrison, although none have yet to pan out. While it's a longshot given all the public praise being heaped upon Miles Austin and Roy Williams as suitable replacements for Terrell Owens, there have been rumblings about the Dallas Cowboys making an offer to Harrison.

For their part, the editors of DallasCowboys.com also dismiss this rumor, but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.
Not a snowball's chance in hell.
