Wow they're really shooting in the dark aren't they?

It's like they're sitting around thinking up hypothetical scenarios, going "Hmm...." and then typing them as "rumblings."
It's a loooong off-season...the well's runnin' pretty low by now.

Pretty bad option route if one of the options is to stop running it, Crayton didn't make a cut or anything he just stopped. Even Crayton him self has admitted this so why are people still trying to make excuses for him?

and romo said it was a mis communication between he and crayton.

it's not an excuse, it's the truth, and crayton is a stand up guy who takes blame.

Which pretty much proves he is a good teammate.

there is no reason to make stuff worse than it is, even if it was a mistake(which I said it was, even though you read it as an excuse), so freaking what, two mistakes, ya, let's write him off.

Link?

It was a 7 route. He got to the top of the route and Romo didn't look to him. The CB jumped the top of the route, and Crayton ad libbed to what looked like a 9 in the corner of the end zone. Since he was ad-libbing, he looked back to make contact with the QB so that they could communicate. Tony anticipated him and threw what would have been a perfect ball had Crayton just gambled that Tony had the time to see him and make the throw. PC couldn't get to it.

These things happen when plays break down. If you show you can understand that and not blame just one of the players involved when ad-libbing doesn't work, it shows you get it.

You'd be better off blaming him for not being able to shake coverage on the original route. That at least makes slightly more sense.

No need to post about this anymore. Marvin Harrison will never be a cowboy, unless he wants to play for Dallas for peanuts. And if that is the case he would have stayed in Ind.

Like it or not, we are going to Camp with what we have.

"but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible . . ."

This can be used as justification for any and all rumors.

It's not likely Dallas trades for Bouldin and Edwards before opening weekend, but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.

It's not likely Dallas trades for Peppers, but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.

It's not likely Jones is actually a space alien and the new Dallas stadium is actually a disguised galactic battle cruiser, awaiting final instructions for world domination . . . but with Jerry Jones steering the ship, anything is possible.

Actually, that last one makes sense.

plus didn't marvin harrison shoot some old lady who was being helped accross the street by a boy scout and in the process she crushed a kitten and a puppy when she fell?

I think I read that.

We don't need old lady killers, let alone puppy and kitten haters.

For the love of octopus, think about the kittens!

This would be a Marcellus Wiley type signing.

Let someone else get suckered in.

Sports Illustrated’s Peter King is reporting that former Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison is planning on retiring. The report stated that Harrison’s injured knee as well as his inability to get it healthy is the reason for walking away.
Here was a quote from King: “I’ve been told reliably that Marvin Harrison’s not playing any more. Knee hurts. Can’t get healthy like the old Marvin.”
It’s been a tough offseason for Harrison, who was released February 25th by the Colts after he didn’t take a pay cut. Since then he has been really unable to find any team that has a legit interest in him. Injuries, including the knee, have limited him to 20 games total since 2007.
It’ll probably come down to seeing if a team is even going to need Harrison if a player gets hurt during the remaining minicamps or training camp. Other than that, it appears that the ship has sailed on Harrison, and he’s no longer really a player any teams wants to deal with.

Sure. wink, wink. Bring in a "Big Name." An expensive one. An over-the-hill guy who will delay the blossoming of younger WRs. Someone who can take the ball from RW and piss him off.
Someone who is aged. And doesn't he have a criminal or civil trial coming up re a gun used in a shooting?

Jerra, just say no.

I certainly understand your point, but it should be pointed out that Harrison was cleared in the criminal trial because it was shown that the witnesses in the trial lied about the event of the shooting--all that is left is a civil trial that Harrison will also be cleared in because of the same reasons.

The person who claimed such events happened is a known criminal, and all witnesses who claimed wrong doing by Harrison have been shown to have lied and misrepresented the events of that day.

He is the target of a money grubbing criminal. As I have been the target of such people because of my financial stature, I admittedly have compassion for his situation.

I think people are unfairly discounting the talent that Crayton brings to this football team. Except for that one bad game that he had against the NYG in '07, Crayton is a sure-handed possession receiver...kind of like Keyshawn Johnson with a bit more speed.

I think people will be surprised at Crayton this year now that the freedom to spread the ball around is going to be there, along with a (hopefully) more dedicated running attack.
