Not much here... more emergency types to replace the injured starters.

NFL free agent tracker: Ranking the best unsigned players

The 2025 NFL free agency period is long gone, but plenty of talented players are still out there and looking for new homes. Who are the best remaining free agents?

We ranked the top unsigned players, factoring in age, positional value, expected future production and scheme versatility. The list goes 17 players deep at the moment.

Who will sign Amari Cooper? Will Asante Samuel Jr. or Za'Darius Smith join a contender? Let's jump in, starting with a veteran cornerback.

Plenty of DTs on that list.

Good thing they sat out March yet again.

Oh wait….they overpaid their own guy, again. That usually goes well.

Jerry thinks “because I pay em to be” will make players better than they actually are, when they are more likely to just mail it in.

if Asante isn't signed yet, his injury must be much worse than advertised. he was a very good corner and we had interest in him back when he was drafted. I wonder what's going on.

but everybody else is older and probably done, cooked like Amari

also why not White or Blackmon. both of the LB and saftey units suck at this point.

I agree about Asante......little surprised he's still out there

Lot of corners, Edge guys, and receivers. Would definitely keep an eye on the corners if Diggs and Revel aren't progressing as expected. Willis looks like an interesting swing tackle and is the perfect Chuma replacement. Often injured but has starting experience.

I know Cooper is in decline, but him as a WR3 on the cheap would be intriguing.

If they are to improve at DT, it’s going to have to be via trade, and give away yet more draft capital.

Don’t tell me about camp cuts. Teams aren’t cutting anyone who would make a difference.

When it comes to the Cowboys, we should have a list of the cheapest free agents available.
This year we’ve seen a slight change in that past behavior. They’ve signed better free agents than in years past with Fowler, trading for Milton, Pickens, Elam and Kenneth Murray. Much better quality than in years past. They also obtained some really good depth in Robert Jones, Miles Sanders, Davonte Williams(may be the starter), Jack Sanborn(may be a starter) and Solomon Thomas.

This is definitely a change from years past.

The depth is indeed much better.

I’d actually call that the greatest improvement from last year until now.

Solid group of CB's not named Gilmore. And course if they signed someone it would be Gilmore

If it was me, Id have Douglas on the the team yesterday. More long term upside to Samuel, but I think Douglas fits this team better right now. And at 30, you probably still have a few years of good play if he works out

Samuel will do well in oue Zone scheme, we should sign him.

I'd love to see him brought in as a slot option.

I don't know about a lot of the older ones.

Do they legitimately want to keep playing at a high level or are they looking to steal a little money on their way out the door?

How many of them are just trying to "Eddie George" it.

We may ought to take a stab at him, but then again, I’m not sure he would move the needle.
