IRVING, Texas -- As the Dallas Cowboys look for ways to improve during their bye week, having coach Jason Garrett take over the play-calling duties is not one of the options. This season is the first time since 2007 that Garrett has not called plays for the Cowboys, with offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Bill Callahan taking over that role this season. The Cowboys are 19th in yards per game (327.8) and fourth in scoring (27.4). With Garrett as the playcaller, the Cowboys never ranked lower than 13th in yards and that came in 2008 when Tony Romo missed three games with a broken pinky.
