Jerry Jones is at the NFL owners meetings in Atlanta talking about expanding the playoffs. Since 1990, 12 NFL teams move on to the postseason and the league would like to expand that by two. If 14 teams had made the postseason last year, the Pittsburgh Steelers (AFC) and Arizona Cardinals (NFC) would have qualified. Despite being eligible for postseason play going into Week 17 the past three seasons, the Cowboys haven't advanced. “The sooner the better for the Dallas Cowboys,” Jones told ESPN on Monday.
