IRVING, Texas -- Pro Bowl receiver Dez Bryant set a deadline of this past weekend to get a contract extension done with the Dallas Cowboys because he doesn’t want finances to cloud his focus on football once the regular season begins. That’s a decision respected by owner and general manager Jerry Jones, who has met with individually with Bryant at least twice over the last eight days to discuss the details of a potential deal.
