Would money loss cause Jerrah to change? Possible, but I wouldnt bet on it. Most addicts dont change until they really hit rock bottom and thats 6 feet under. Even the ones that want to change have a hard time doing it. The possibility is always there, but only becomes a reality when the person wants to put forth the effort to actually change. Most dont change even tho they dont like where they are, because they like where they are better than where they would be with the change.
For Jerrah and his ego, a radical change would be an admission of failure for almost 2 decades. He couldnt live with that. He may not like where he is, but he likes trying it his way and failing at this point way more than he would like admitting failure and winning another way. Change solidifies his failure. Keep trying his way and if he happens to hit on something he has the fact that he DID get it done his way - even if he's the only one that would think it. His only shot at success in his mind is to continue trying.
