lol good one.

Dez is probably already about to fire his new agent.

He'll be in training camp at some point.

At worst he misses training camp and comes back when its over which isn't a bad thing imo.

If he does, I won't think of him the same again. I think he's too passionate to miss the opener.

I know people are going to come in and say "What would you do if you believed you deserved a bigger contract!?" - If I was under contract still, I feel it's my obligation to be on the field.

He's not under contract until he signs the franchise tag

Well, this is going to blow up in about 5 minutes and everybody is going to run with the story. It will then be a "Sky Falling" story and in about 24-48 hours, both sides will claim that there is no truth to this rumor.

Why? Emmitt did it. If he doesn't sign the franchise tag, he's technically not under contract. Right?

Hard to believe a guy that couldn't stay away from OTA's would miss a game, but if his agents think this is the best tactic to get a long term deal, it certainly worked for emmitt

Everything Eagles related has doom and gloom today. Some guy on NFL radio (Eskins or something) a sports person on Philly; predicted Dallas would implode this year. We have a guy that "chokes women and another guy that's just a, well he was just not a good guy in college, and they drafted him second." They are praying the boys don't kick fire out their azzes this year because Chip is building a fantasy league team.
It would have been bettering he actually knew what or who he was talking about, according to him these are things he heard, he doesn't know the guys. Well they should look inward for problems, we know they have a racist receiver playing for them, how do their players feel around that guy? They should worry about the plank in their own eye....

Emmitt could still actually get a deal when he held out of those games. Dez CAN'T get a deal by skipping any games. Not the same at all.

OK.

This looks like the agent(s) leaking information. Who knows if they are making the same claims/threats directly to the Cowboys front office....

Why would he sit out if he can't get a deal done anyways? Is being a writer that easy now?
