ESPN's Chris Mortensen believes that the Cardinals will listen to trade offers for Anquan Boldin this offseason.

Boldin would be the hottest name on the trade market and could probably bring back a first-round pick. Mortensen points out that Arizona is stocked up on receivers and can afford to trade Boldin if a "reasonable offer" comes along. The Cards could go with Steve Breaston opposite Larry Fitzgerald next season, with Early Doucet and Jerheme Urban battling for third receiver duty.

With Fitz I'm not sure you need another WR. JK but it doesn't seem to matter what D they throw at him.

I hate hindsight..but I always wanted Boldin more than Roy Williams..If the Eagles get him I might have to throw up

You're absolutely correct. Fitz routinely beats double and triple coverage for jump-ball style throws. Whether you see it as bailing Warner out or not, that's up to you, but the guy is a phenom.

And he's playing like this after getting his "payday" by way of his 4-year, $40M deal with $30M guaranteed. Student of the game.

you can say that again i didnt want boldin over roy but i would hate it big time if they got a monster like boldin that can kill you across the middle and a deep ball specialist like desean jackson.....oh god.

i think roy will be a monster this year especially because he'll be healthy and romo and him will be on the same page.

i think roy will be a great coompliment to T.O and they will torture opposing defenses next year.

the key will be the o-line we couldnt give romo time to set up last year to even build a rythym this past season but i think if we draft and sign some depth we'll be fine.

Another post in this thread that I agree with 100%. I wanted either Houshmandzadeh or Boldin more than Roy Williams. And if we got Roy Williams, I thought Jerry was going to wait until the off-season and sign him as a free agent.

Bolden has talent, but also seems to be a bit of a hothead. Fitzgerald has far outshined him as of late.

Same.

Not a big fan of the RW deal. I'm going to hate watching Boldin or Housh go to a another team.

We still would have had to trade for RW, as the Lions could have still franchised him. His value wasnt going to go down.

Houshmanzadeh has absolutely zero bigplay ability...we have TE's that avg more yds per catch than he does. I never wanted him.

I just dont want Boldin going to the Eagles..I'm glad the Eagles are cheap and would never give up a first and third..plus they are going to have to sign him to a HUGE contract..I think we all know that will pain Eagles management.

people say this kinda of stuff every yr with them, and every yr it doesnt make a difference

I remember the yr they signed Kearse and TO, and everyone thought they were a lock to win the next 5 championships...Kearse was a massive bust and TO helped wreck their lockerroom, and Philly got to the superbowl with basically niether making an impact down the stretch or in the two NFC Playoff games.

While he wouldn't be my first choice, Housh makes big catch after big catch...their called "first downs". Every time I watch the Bengals he makes numerous big catches on third and long. We could use that.

Housh > RW

im going to be honest i really think that calvin johnson is the best wr in the game the guy was 100 yards behind fitzgerald and had 20 less catches.

he was definately tripled teamed they had no one else in detroit, the guy is 6'5 235lbs and is T.O and randy moss combined.

that guy is unreal.

if i could trade for anyone it would be him.

boldin is good but he has a temper and his team just won the nfc championship and he totally walked out on them while they were celebrating the biggest moment in their history all because he's mad because fitzgerald was getting the shine?????

and you guys blame and hate T.O yall have to be kidding me.

if that was owens he would never be able to live that down all over the world that would be the biggest story leading up the super bowl.....is t.o gonna show up at the superbowl???

i like boldin's game he plays hurt, runs good after the catch and has good speed but i think him and williams is a wash.

i havent seen him do anything roy11 hasn't .

but im telling you folks if calvin johnson had a steady qb he'd average 1500 yards and 14tds a season.

he went through like 4 different qbs this season and they all knew just throw it to calvin.

Housh > RW

No he isnt...he gets alot of receptions because of the style of offense they play and so much of the attention going to Chad Johnson, who is a far more explosive player.

Crayton could catch a 100 passes a yr too if he got enough passes thrown his way. There is nothing special about Housh.

I'm sorry, but nobody is going to convince me that a WIDE RECEIVER that averages 10-11 yds per catch is a special player.

It would be nice to have Boldin, but I don't know why so many people have already given up on Roy.

The sideline tirade did turn me off on him somewhat.

Let's hope he's not a NY Giant next season.
