And he was a rookie. Yawn. So called fans in this thread are somewhat pathetic. Felix showed what he could do. In college he showed no injury problems so last year is a fluke unless proven otherwise.

Frankly I have heard nothing from EMmitt worth hearing for years.

Don't be ********. The dude quoted me saying that Felix is not a workhorse, and then proceeded to say all the other starting backs in the NFCE missed time like that was somehow knocking them out of the running. 16 games of JJ is 16 games of suck.

Does it ever occur to some people that these guys ACTUALLY PLAYED THE GAME? Are we really so into defending Tony Romo that we will even act like the NFL's all-time rushing leader has NO CLUE about what kind of leadership a QB must demonstrate? I have personally been encouraged by what I see as a more serious Romo this year. I hope he continues with that. I don't think Emmitt is wrong. I think he played with a hall of fame QB and he knows what that looked like. Romo has to be the leader on offense, and I think he will be.
Did u ever think that Emmitt loves his team so much that he would continually call them out so they play with a chip on their shoulder?

Don't know about 7 wins but he's right about Romo and Wade.

The truth hurts.

Don't you think Emmitt's comments are tired and played out? After last season, sure they deserved everything they got from fans and media.

But now? Six months later? Give it a rest and let's talk about this season. And if Roy is right, it's not like he's hanging around Valley Ranch monitoring the team's progress.

His timing is just way off. It's time to move on and get ready for gameday.

I agree. He is one RB with more talent than Emmitt had going into his career.

I second that opinion and I don't need to mark it down because I really believe in it. The game has changed.
Dude your posting priviledges should be revoked.Emmit caught passes, ran the ball and was a great blocker picking up blitzes. I love Felix in all but when he finishes a COMPLETE season and he has the #s to back it up I still want disrespect Emmitt until he does it year in and year out and wins 3 rings and plays a playoff game with a seperated shoulder and wills his team to victory.

Without this guy you wouldn't have the chance to stick your chest out as Cowboy fans and say we are one of the All-time great franchises in the world. Why do you think everyone hates us, because we have those 5 rings and were Americas team and its sad to see Cowboy fans be so disrespectful to a man who was a major cog in getting 3 of those rings. Unfreakinbelievable!!!

Emmit is truly keepin it real... Let the proof be in the pudding.. Don't get butt hurt over the realistic comments of someone that has seen far greater success than this team has achieved in the past 13 years.

yea because you say so...stop being such a homer....he had a great O-Line, he wasn't a bad Back, but he wasnt great either...anyone can look good with a great o-line

yea he had instincts and made them look even way better, but in todays league, he wouldn't dominate like he did back then, guys are bigger, and faster

you probably barely watched football back then, just look at his name and stats, and say "omg he was teh best"

just stop, always looking to agree with somebody

idiotic to a homer, yes i know....

he would be good today, but not dominate like he was back then, he wouldn't have the O-line, and guys are bigger and faster

those little BS moves, and o-line running people over leaving gaps, wouldnt happen today

guys are too strong, smart and faster today

i know you old heads cant take it, but deal with it

And Emmitt did that all by himself, right?
When you ask me who was responsible for all those wins during that time I say all 53 players who manned the team. I guess you credit Emmitt and solely Emmitt for our success.
