The Eagles-Cowboys game Sunday was moved from 1 p.m. ET to 4:15 p.m. ET earlier today. It was a tough break for Andy Reid and the Eagles. Before their game begins, the Eagles will know whether the Raiders were able to knock off Tampa Bay.

Unless the Raiders can pull off the upset, the Eagles will only be playing for pride. We saw how they played against the Commanders when something was actually on the line. I realize how much the Eagles hate the Cowboys, but that's a tough emotional leap to make just before the game.

The Cowboys would never admit it, but they think they caught a huge break with the game being moved back. Asked if he'd rather not know the outcome of the game, Reid said, "Yeah, but that's probably not realistic in this day-in-age of technology. I said this before, you can't worry about all the different things that you can't control. You just have to go play, that's the important thing."

Whether or not the Eagles playoff chances are gone or not, the fact they could ruin Dallas seaon is motivation enough for Philly to play as hard as they can in an effort to beat Dallas.
This is a divisional game and it is against Philly in Philly. That alone will make this a rough game for Dallas to win no matter what may happen early on Sunday:)

oh it will be a tough game but anyone who thinks that a Buc win in the morning will not take the edge away from the Eagles is nuts.

It would be disappointing to them no doubt.
Still, beating Dallas would help relieve some of their sadness because then they could say, "At least we took Dallas down with us."

true, but remember our lack of intensity in the last game of 2005 when we were eliminated earlier in the day

this would be so awesome if the raiders win. it would be the battle of the 2 chokers romo and mcnabb in a game both need to win. i will be betting on a tie if this happens.

I would also prefer if the Raiders win. I'm just happy it's not at Texas stadium... they would probably do something stupid like announce that the Eagles season was over during the pre-game warmups and get them fired up. I'm also hoping that being on the road helps the boys focus on the game and not some other ceremony or party going on.

Your comparing the mail-it-in-in-December Dallas Cowboys to the Eagles. Don't expect the Eagles to adopt a loser's attitude if they are eliminated. In fact, I would expect Reid to pull out all the stops to ruin the Cowboy's season with the pressure of making the playoffs gone. Expect onside kicks, fake punts, going for it on 4th in the red zone rather than kicking the FG, etc. Also expect our coaching staff to be completely unprepared for that......

Chicago also must lose at Houston for the Eagles to have a chance.

Correction, Chicago or the Vikings have to lose, and it is likely that the Vikings could lose to the Giants...though the Giants don't have much to play for.

No way the Vikings lose at home vs the Giants, it ain´t gonna happen, although you are right with your post.

The Oakland Raiders... :lmao2:

I think there will be plenty of Cowboys who will be willing to tell them.

they only get in as wildcard with win and losses by Buccaneers and us.

Win division with win and Minnesota loss. Minnesota loss eliminates them as they cannot get a wildcard.
