They're going to tease all morning with a TO segment.

Overall, it's pretty dry.

And what's with Keyshaw wearing a pink(salmon) shirt and a green tie. Yuck.

It's not really the same. Irvin did bring something dynamic to the show. Key+Irvin would've been cool. Key+Emmitt...not so much.

I read TO's comments before they even appeared on PFT. It was a non-story to me. There are alot of folks who feel that way.

I think your reaction is a bit much, DE. Players grant interviews all the time and he basically said some of the same stuff as others. He didn't condone Vick's actions, basically said he saw it growing up, too.

Wasn't that bad of a segment, actually. The second part of the segment will be 'boys related. There's a podcast about it on ESPN already.

I agree. I thought he actually represented himself and his opinion very well, and just gave people an inisght into the cuture.

TO's comment about dog fighting being similar to hunters lopping off a deer's head and hanging it on the wall was interesting. I dont aggree with him but it is interesting.

I'm from the south. The rural south, in fact. I condemn all types of animal fighting. There are other Southerns who also condemn animal fighting. The reason why dog fighting, cock fighting, etc., have been (edit) outlawed by Southerns along with the rest of the nation is that many Southerns condemn animal fighting.

Owens, truthfully, called animal fighting a sub culture of Southern society. Props to him on that, but it is also outdated and completely irrelevant in this day and age.

It's time for everyone to condemn animal fighting for what it is: stupid and totally unnecessary.

Tired metaphors should be avoided in public speaking and I'm surprised his coaches haven't corrected it, but he's yards better than he was with the NFL Net. Surely you can see that....maybe he'll keep improving.

But he was asked about it, DE. That's kinda the point. He was asked and he gave his opinion and stated it very clearly. Players can't be afraid to state their opinion on the Vick matter. And it sucks that if a player doesn't come out all self-righteous against it, then he gets bashed.

He admitted it is a sub-culture, so while it's condemned by mainstream Southerners, there's a reason it still exists and why it's still very popular to some and TO tried to explain that. At least that's how I took the segment.
