Pardon my ignorance, but what does "prospect school grade" mean? Are they rating the player or the school, system...???

The player's rating based on how they performed in school. (pre-combine)

As a player or a student? If it's related to the wunderlict(sp), then I can see the relevance. If it's somehow related to on-field performance it tells nothing considering we don't know how in the heck the #'s were derived.

its like they are giving them Madden ratings or NCAA college football ratings. This is how they thnik the will project to the NFL. Hence, Bush being a 99.

I think it's more in relation to their draft class. So, Bush is the best prospect of the class.

They are three seperate headings.

It should look more like:

Prospect_____________________School___________________Grade.

Players Name School Attended Pre combine grade

The grade is not there academic grade, its their playing grade.

No not at all. It goes by player only. None of those gradings come into play in relation to who else is in that particular years draft.

A 95 is a 95 no matter what the rest of the draft looks like.

I'll give you one guy at from each list that's seriously underrated. I'll stick with guys with grades lower that 60.

QBs - Drew Olsen - UCLA - Someone's going to steal a future starting QB on the second day.

RBs - Wali Lundy - VA - Better back than most realize

WRs - Ed Hinkel - Iowa - Gets open and has great hands - Ricky Proehl like career.

TEs - Cooper Wallace - Auburn - Has potential

OL - Jhari Evans - Bloomsburg - Going to be better than fellow PSAC alum Leander Jordan.

DL - Mike Kudla - Ohio State - Going to rise too high after the combine but someone else here compared him to Vrabel and that may be apt.

LB - Spencer Havner - UCLA - Quality player on a bad college defense.

DB - Calvin Lowry - Penn State - He's going to be a solid starter in the NFL.

If Dallas did not already have two unproven QBs behind Drew Bledsoe I would love to take a flyer on Drew Olson.

Could be another Drew Brees type guy in the making, but picked at a much lower round than Brees was.

Brees, was the first player taken in the second round. That is practically a first round pick. When you consider that in 2001 there were only 31 teams it would be equivalent to a 2006 first round pick.

We could cut Romo and draft Olson, and be guaranteed of a Drew starting no matter what for years to come! LOL
