Don't have link. Heard it on ESPN radio.

If true that is terribly unfortunate for him but kind of funny...

He was so high on playing along side of Jarret during the draft show.

Talk about getting the carpet ripped out from under your feet.

Sounds crazy I know, but I'd take him back in Dallas. I thought he provided a safety valve for Bledsoe when he was here.

He's more of a TE now than receiver, but his hands are as reliable as anybody's.

I heard it as well.

He would make a great insurance policy for us next year!

I totally agree...I'd take him back too.

I've never been 100% sure what is going on with Glenn's knee...and you never know about TO.

I disagree.

This is a crucial year to see how good Crayton, Hurd and Austin are.

With 2 1st round picks next year we will be in position to lock up a top WR if that is whats needed.

Key will only take snaps away and leave us in question about our future WRs.

TO and Key would not get along and the wr situation is crowded as it is, so we would have to let go of at least one young guy maybe two to keep him. No dice.

No offense, but I don't buy into the taking snaps away from the young guys all that much. If they are that good they will get onto the field. Not saying a totally disagree, but we want to win it all now! If Keys gets beat out by Austin...good job Austin!

Panthers cut Keyshawn

Keyshawn Johnson was released by the Carolina Panthers Tuesday, leaving one of the NFL's most productive receivers looking for a third team in as many years.

""They said they wanted to get younger,'' Johnson said. ""That's fine with me. I'd like to go somewhere and help someone win another Super Bowl.''

Johnson, 34, spent the weekend working for ESPN in New York during their NFL draft coverage and will undoubtedly receive offers to work in broadcasting. But his first choice is to play another season or two.

The move was somewhat surprising since the Panthers paid Johnson a $3-million roster bonus April 1. Carolina drafted Southern Cal receiver Dwayne Jarrett and also have Keary Colbert.

Last season, Johnson caught 70 passes for 815 yards and four touchdowns, two of them against Tampa Bay.

Johnson even joked that he would consider returning to the Bucs.

""Me and Jon Gruden together again. You never know,'' he said laughing. ""Billy Martin and George Steinbrenner did it.''

Define irony: a bunch of idiots dancing around on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.

Name that movie.

I wonder if it isn't backlash from Key saying the Panters should draft Quinn. That couldn't have sat well with Delhomme.

I like Key, but I don't think he's better than Crayton at this point. People underestimate Crayton. Jerry didn't give him a second round 1.3 tender out of generosity, they gave it to him because someone else would have signed him to be a starter. He's highly productive for being the team's 4th passing option.

I see the irony. But he was still pretty productive last year. I think he'll catch on with somebody.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if he was brought back here, but TO and Key would be extremely combustible. Rather not take the chance.

Hmmm...Green bay?

Funny thing is, there were alot of us joking in the chatroom that key was going to get cut because of the Jarrett pick.

Tough break for Keyshawn. He'd have enjoyed being Jarrett's mentor.
