It was the 9am guy. Can't remember his name.

He was saying that you have to quit blaming Romo (although he was down on him in the past). The top teams in the NFC - he cited Minnesota, NO, Phili and Arizona - all have stars that make big plays that result in easier TDs (break tackles, make unbelievable runs, catch passes in coverage with two people on them, etc.).

Says you won't consistently score enough points with 14 play drives -- which Romo is forced to do because we have 'good RBs, good receivers' but not game breakers who will make unbelievable 'burst' plays to score TDs.

You think this is a bunch of BS or true?

Only Miles and Felix qualify as play makers IMO. Ogletree maybe someday.

Well I would classify Austin as a game breaker. Felix Jones has been disappointing.

I think there is some truth to it. I'm more concerned about the defense though. You can't trust them.

The offense played well enough to win yesterday. It was the defense (again), who have declined when the calendar changed to December.

I think it's a very valid point, but at the same time we still move the ball just fine. If we would stop making mistakes, and the line performs well, we're fine on offense.

Defense....well that's another story.

In order to be a game breaker you actually have to make plays when the game is on the line.

i disagree.

it's hard to have "gamebreakers" when you're at 3rd & 18 regularly.

we have STUPID AND POORLY COACHED PLAYERS, many of whom would be GAMEBREAKERS if we had a real offensive coordinator and head coach.

I don't think that Dallas has that "wow" player like those teams do.Austin and Williams can do good things, but they're not going to turn into Larry Fitzgerald either.Philly has Desean Jackson who is putting together a highlight reel of his own.Minnesota has Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson playing good ball.NO has some guys that are playing within the system that Payton designed and are reaping the benefits.

Dallas has shown the ability to make the big plays,it's just that Dallas doesn't have that dominant player that the others have.I mean Felix,Austin and Roy are your only guys that have the ability to break one.Barber,Choice,Witten and Bennett don't scare anyone with game breaking ability.

So yes,I think the reporter is full of it.

Jacobs hasn't done anything all year. Smith is very good but his two best games came against Dallas. Boss? I don't buy it, Dallas has plenty of game-breakers.

Sunday it was Smith, Hixon and Jacobs. No matter what you want to argue or how you feel they broke the game open. Also that fumble on defense was huge for them.

considering we rank at the top of the league in "big plays", they obviously are clueless

Must be nice to be able to rack up stats against bad teams.

Dallas is one of the better teams in football to produce big plays....so they have playmakers. Austin has freakish size/speed/strengh combo (did you see him literally toss that CB out of the play on a catch he made). He is one of the toughest in league to tackle. Felix Jones can break it on any toss play. And tony Romo can throw it with the best of them....so thats a QB, WR and RB that are capable of a TD on any play. I just think people are searching for reasons why this team sometimes plays small in important games. It has nothing to do with lack of playmakers and everything to do with mental toughness to will the situations. Championship teams do it...everyone else doesnt.

Ed Reed Ray lewis?
Ed Reed was making big plays last season. Ray Lewis was his usual consistent very good player but he wasn't breaking any games open. so only a safety on Baltimore was a gamebreaker and they went to the AFC championship game. like I said it's just another excuse for this team failing again.

Thats true, we have no game breakers on the team. A player that scares a team and they have to game plan against that player.

A player like charles haley, or ed reed, or michael irvin or leon lett or deion sanders

I thought we had such a player in felix jones, but he stinks!

He is running tentative on kickoffs, even brad sham said so and that he wants no part into running to break tackles, he goes down to easy

Some of these players arent challenged, just makes you sick!

We have no game breakers on defense.

Demarcus Ware..ya..but he hasn't really been himself this year.

That's why i would trade multiple draft picks for Eric Berry.

We need a new DC and secondary coach though.
