Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick is eligible to return from suspension after the NFLPA voted to accept the NFL's revised drug policy, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Orlando Scandrick had been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.


A league spokesman told ESPN Senior NFL Analyst Chris Mortensen that "there continue to be significant unresolved issues" with the drug policy. Sources told Mortensen that one such issue is whether players reinstated immediately would be eligible to play Sunday and Monday.

That means that if all the ‘i’s can be dotted and all the ‘t’s can be crossed immediately, suspended players including Broncos receiver Wes Welker and Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick can be reinstated soon enough to play on Sunday.
