Matt Williamson: Hey everyone-Matt Williamson here. Let's get started on the NFC East.

Luis (SB, CA): Hey Matt, with the stong play of Dallas' offensive line, do you think they'll be able to contain the likes of A. Thomas and V. Wilfork? How about Vice versa. Everyone talks about Dallas needs to put pressure on Brady, do you see this happening?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Dallas will struggle getting to Brady. A Ware needs to have a giant game, but all in all, Brady is just so effecient with getting the ball out of his hand and seeing the field that he is very tough to get to. NE's OL is playing lights out as well. I give the advantage to NE's front 7 over Dallas' OL as well. Moving Wilfork off the point is really going to be a chore. BB will dial up some blitzes and fronts that this unit is not accustomed to blocking. NE's front 7 is very tough.

Shawn TN: According to Scout Inc they give Dallas the edge at LB and DB. Would this not mean that there is a potential for Romo and TO to have a better game than Brady and Moss to pull an upset?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Sure. There is a chance. Dallas is very good. New England is elite. The weakness of NE's D is their secondary, but they are not terrible by any stretch. Personally, I like NE's LBs better than Dallas', but it is very close.

Sal (Dallas): Do you think Dallas Stands any chance at all against NE?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Of course they stand a chance! But...they are going to lose.

Mike (az): Will samuels matchup almost exclusively on TO or will it just depned what side of the field he is on?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Hard to tell, but I bet BB doesn't keep it that easy to diagnose. They will battle quite a bit and that should be a very key matchup, but NE will vary their coverages and formations to keep Romo guessing. Romo needs to prove that he can handle this D from a mental standpoint.

Justin (Green Bay): How do you think the STOUT Packer D will handle the conservative Skins O this week?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: REALLY looking forward to that game and I don't expect a lot of points total. GB's D has a chink, in that they can have a hard time with 3+ WR sets and Bush, their NB, can be exposed. That doesn't really play into Wash's hands though, as they are light at WR, but I do think Wash will throw more than usual this week.

Luis (SB, CA): Do you see NYG going into ATL on monday night as a "Trap Game" as they labeled last Monday nights game? Do you think ATL has a chance to pull an upset at home?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: I am not a very big believer in ATL, but MNF on the road is always a chore-ask the Cowboys. This game could be close, but NYG matches up with them very well and should really get a ton of edge pressure on ATL's QBs. I like NYG, but am a little wary considering the circumstances.

Jimbo(Ft Worth): With all the attention that will be paid to TO and probably Witten to you think Crayton could be in for another good game against the pats?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: He could be. Witten seems like the key to me right now and I would guess that A Thomas does battle with him more than many expect. Crayton will have to make plays-no doubt. Is he capable of having a monster game against this D? Perhaps, but I do have some doubts.

Dan(Texas): Who is going to be running the ball for Green Bay?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: That is a good question. Morency isnt practicing. Wynn has looked okay in spurts. B Jackson is falling out of favor. That running game showed signs of life against Chi, but their RBs are pretty terrible. Big benefit to Wash.

T.O Dallas : Getcha popcorn ready!!!! Dallas 24 Pats 17 ......

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: TO-
The place is going to be rockin' and you need to step up from your paltry production that last two weeks. I am sure you will in this one, but...NE 31, Dallas 20

Andrew (Houston): Who do you predict the Patriots to lose against this season, and if the Colts, why?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: They will not go undefeated and Indy could very easily be the team to knock them off. PGH will have a good chance as well, as does Dallas. 16-0 is just too tough. Indy knows them very well and they are at home. WRs and Clark are a lot for NE's secondary to deal with.

Dan(Texas): Who needs to have a big game for the Dallas' D? Jacques Reeves? You know NE is gona pick on him. Or the trifecta of Ellis, Ware, and Spencer?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Reeves is going to be in Brady's sights all day long. Bring in extra WRs, challenge Dallas' sub CBs. Run the ball if Dallas plays too much coverage.

Sam Chicago: Will the Skins use the same defensive scheme against the Pack that they used against the Lions?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Different Os. They need to play GB's WRs tight to take away those slants that GB runs so well. Similiar I suppose, as neither team has much of a running game, but Det is much more vertically inclined.

Dan(Texan): Is Philly a playoff contender? Westbrook is back but you know he's gona miss another game or two. Is the difference their offensive line? Seems to suddenly suck.

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Finally a Philly question! Westbrook is the key for sure. The O stinks without him. The OL was surprisingly bad, esp against NYG. Shocking. A Ried needs to help them out as well. Give the new LT some help!

EB NYC: Enough with the dallas questions... The Giants should be 6-2 at the bye week with arguably the toughest part of their schedule (games 1-4) behind them. What should my expectations be for this Giants team in a weak NFC?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Very good point. The D is so much better now than in the first two games. Plex is a monster. The running game is formidable. Playoffs are a reasonable expectation. 9-7? Maybe

Mark (Newark, DE): Are you calling Terence Newman a sub corner?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Not at all-I am really high on Newman. But when NE brings in extra WRs, Dallas will have to bring in extra DBs and those will be who Brady targets. SO many potent pass catchers for NE.

Mark (Newark, DE): Westbrook is not the new LT. He has been doing this for years without the credit!

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: No question. He needs to stay on the field for Philly to get back on track.

Larry (Brooklyn, NY): True or false...3 east teams make the playoffs?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Starting to think that way. NO WAY will two come out of the NFC South. Maybe 2 (Chi and GB) from the North. Maybe 2 from the West. Very possible that three are from the East though. T

Mark (Newark, DE): Would the Pats/Boys game be different if Terry Glenn was healthy?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Sure wouldn't hurt. Could run many more 3 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE sets.

Jon NY : Matt, Do you think the Giants can take Dallas to win the east?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Going to be tough, but there are a TON of great NFC East head to head matchups still and they will make all the difference.

Greg - Indy: Could you elaborate on your love affair with New England and especially Tom Brady. Did you grow up in the Area. I am sure Gisele is getting jealuous!

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Pittsburgh guy here...but I know what I am talking about. Give credit where it is due. That team is fantastic. Have been for years. Top 2 QB. HOF QB. Superstar QB. His supporting cast is outstanding. The coaching is tops in the league. I get paid to talk about what I think and I think these guys are REALLY good. Unbiased. Tell me what you don't like about Brady's game? Please enlighten me.

Abi-Ross (Herndon, VA): Is SS R.Harrison playing this game? And if he is, will he be a key factor?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Supposed to play some. Doubt he will have a huge role or be a key factor though. Rusty.

Anthony (College Park, MD): You mentioned those Green Bay slants. How long do you think they're going to do that on Sunday with Laron Landry and Sean Taylor in the middle of the field?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: The slants run more at the LBs. Wash's safeties-which are killers, I agree-probably won't get direct shots on them right after the catch. Very short throws.

Mark (Newark, DE): I have a mancrush on Brady too!

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: How can you not! That Peyton Manning character isn't too shabby himself. We are lucky to be able to watch those two right now. Tell your kids about them.

Larry (Brooklyn, NY): Eli, Romo or campbell 3 years from now?...I take campbell because he's the most physically talented and makes the fewest mistakes

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Very tough call, but give me Campbell. Right now: Romo. Then? Campbell. VERY bright future. That isn't a knock on either of the other two though.

Mike - NYC: Matt - i still think you are underestimating the giants, EB makes a good point, they can very well go into the break 6-2. i dont see them going 3-5 in the back 8, why are you still so down on them?

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: What have I said negative about the Giants (during this chat)? 6-2 into the bye is quite possible. After the bye, the schedule is tough. Injuries happen. Long year. 10-6 is possible.

AR (Phila, PA): Get to the Eagle questions!!!!

sn2.gif
Matt Williamson: Philly fans didn't represent so well this week. Plus, Dal/NE is a monster game. Get over it. Adios folks, I am out. It was fun as always. Catch me at 1:30 for the AFC North.

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Welcome to the AFC East chat everyone! It's 12:30 and time to talk about the Pats, Bills, Jets and Fins! Let's role

TK (brooklyn): Marwan, isn't it a bit early for Bills fans to be calling for Juron to be fired? He posted a 7-9 record last year and they were in the playoff hunt in the closing few weeks. This year they are riddled with injuries and have lost two heart-breaking games. I understand teh play calling has been questionable and predictable at times, but coachign staffs need time to jell as well?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: TK, Yes, it's definitely a too early for any talk of change for the Bills coaching staff. Injuries have riddled the Bills.

SprungOnSports (Long Island): Is Jets-Eagles this week almost an elimination game?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: SOS, You can classify it as an elimination game. I've said all along that there can't be anymore talk of "still early in the season". The route to the playoffs begins now!

Dan(Chi-town): Poor Chambers, if he was on a good team with a good QB I think he could be a top five WR. Agree?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Dan, too many dropped balls and top 5!? Wow, being awfully generous.

JT (FL): Do you think John Beck will be the answer for Miami when he gets his chance, probably in a few weeks?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: JT, I wish I caould give you a solid answer but time will only tell. I liked him in college but the NFL is a totally different deal. He has the tools but I don't know how well he'll adapt to the League.

Dave FL: Marwan, Got to say I dont care what the Media says, beign a Pats fan This weeks game has me nervous Dallas is better team I think then what they are given credit for... what are your thoughts on the game?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Dave, YOU ARE SOOOO RIGHT! This should be a great game and people can't go off of Romo's performance last week. The Dallas secondary has been improving every week and they are well coached. DB's Coach Todd Bowles played in the NFL and does a great job with lesser talented players. Dallas has solid players back there so he'll get them to play even better.

Dave (CT): Does the idea of Beck, Brown, Chambers and Ginn as your offensive weapons over the next few years sound the least bit exciting?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Dave, I wish I could tell you yes but not really man. I like Brown's style of running and his strength. Chamber's is inconsistent and Beck is unproven. Ginn, long way to go.

TK (brooklyn): Marwan, any love for Jabari Greer? He lead the Bills in training camp interceptions, won afc defensive player of the week in his first career start, has two interceptions in his first two starts, and completely shut down TO for 25 yards (plus that strip on the 2 point conversion

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: TK, I got some love for J. Greer! He's a tough, physical player. Toughness is huge with me.

Samuel (Fort Worth, TX): Hey Marwan! Will Losman's return and more aggressive playcalling cure Evans' woes and improve the Bills?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Sammy, I like the rookie, sorry! He makes fewer mistakes and is still getting his feet wet. Edwards has great pocket presence which being a former O-Line coach is my favorite characteristic!

Mike (San Diego): Marwan, can any of the 'Fins problems be attributed to Cameron? He was a stinky HC in college, what made Huizenga think he could handle the Pro HC duties?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Mike, Every head coach in the NFL has to take a bit of the blame of course so yes, he's partially to blame. He's a very good OC. I'm not sure what type of motivator he is and how well he leads a team because he's fairly new at it. I know he did it in college but that's a totally different game.

Brian (Boston, MA): Will the Pats lose a AFC East game this year?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Brian, Unless the Colts join the AFC East any time soon, I'd say probably not.

Pat (NY): Marwan, please give me your opinion: Edwards or Losman? We all know Losman is nearing the end of his contract, so it seems the Bills will keep one but not both guys.

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Pat, Edwards. Pocket presence and fewer mistakes as a rookie. What else is there. He's got a good arm and seems to have the respect of his teammates.

Andrew (Atl, GA): Why aren't Kyle Brady and Ben Watson getting any love? Everyone loves to talk about how great the new wide receivers are on the Pats, but nobody likes to talk about their stellar tight ends. Where's the love?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Andrew, I disagree man. B. Wat gets love. True, not as much as Moss and the defensive guys but both TE's are a big part of NE's success. That O-Line is solid across the board too.

Brad (Detroit): Marwan, By that statement are you saying the Pats will lose to the Colts in a few weeks?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Brad, Come back and chat with me the week of the game and I'll give you more insight!

Abi-Ross (Herndon, VA): I personally believe that the AFC East isn't that competitive, meaning that New England will win it every year until Tom Brady decides to dominate some other sport. Do you agree?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: AR, I disagree. The AFC East is a competitive division but the Pats are the most established team. All the other teams have coaches who haven't been there for more than 2 years. That has a lot to do with it. Bill in NE reloads every year while the others are rebuilding.

Peter (Quahog, RI): How is it that Ronnie Brown is having such success? This is not a good football team and are constantly playing from behind. Is Brown really just that good?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Peter, Brown is a good player and the O-Line run blocking is good enough for him to do the rest. He's strong and has wheels. He's also a part of the passing game now too which makes him more valuable!

Don (NJ): final score of NE at Big D is????

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Don, Scouts Inc has broken that game down and has given a score prediction. If you're asking me, I'd say the winner will win by 10pts. I won't say who it is!

Peter (Quahog, RI): Competative, maybe. But true or false, this is overall the worst division in the NFL?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Pete, Currently, yes. Agree

CaptainRon(Miami) : Marwan, the one of the Dolphins problems so far is in the poor play calling, to much passing early. Ronnie "Wreckin Ball" Brown needs to get around 25,if not more touches a game. Also, Cam Cameron needs to learn how to use his time outs properly. Leaving T.O's on the feild at the end of games and not at least trying to ice the Texans kicker last week. I think Jay Feely would have made it. Thanks and GO FINS!

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Cap! You're points are well taken and should be posted!

Mckenzie (NY): Marwan, how about some insight into the Jets QB situation. Pennington seems to be making some bad mistakes this year and the lack of a deep passing game has teams stacking the line. Is this the year Clemens takes over?

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Mac, Clemens is the future of the Jets. It may be closer to the end of the season like with 4-5 games left before we see him play more.

sn2.gif
Marwan Maalouf: Guy's this has been a fun chat and I'm excited to watch the Pats and Cowboys slug it out this weekend! Tune in to the Losers chat on Monday and have your questions ready! Ken is up next! Enjoy the weekend!

Matt Williamson - Dallas has absolutely no chance, all Pats players heads and shoulders above Cowboys, they might as well not play.

This just made me laugh. The whole chat is about this year, who's going to be good, who needs help, or about this weeks matchups, who he likes, who he doesn't.

Then you get some idiot skin fan who's so insecure with his qb that he has to ask a dumb question about 3 years from now. Why not ask the question this way and quit beating around the bush.......

..........I know Campbell has had only one decent game, and the rest of the time he's stunk. He can't possibly play with Romo now, but I'm hoping that in 3 more years, he'll be better. What do you think?....................

Get this through you're head skins fans.........nobody cares about your stupid team. You are perrenial losers and your superbowl trophies are plastic. They are more tainted than Belichecks trophies. Nobody outside of that miserable beltway cares about your overpaid, overhyped, underperforming team.
