Predictions are worthless, just look at the preseason mags that come out in August that predict the division winners and SB winner and see how accurate they really are come January.

If somebody gets just 50% correct, they are considered geniuses.

As for the Cowboys, this coaching staff is about as clueless as they come when designing a game plan. That is why every QB except Romo loses every dam game, Romo is the only guy that can just play sandlot ball and call plays at the line. Ergo, if Romo gets hurt we will lose every single game, this has been proven.

If Romo doesn't get hurt, we should win 10 games easily, even with this crayon playbook and coach clapper doing everything possible to lose.

:hammer:Bingo!!! We have a winner!!!!

That will all change when we bring in Patrick Mahomes in the next draft. Hope will return folks! ;)

To summarize: The Cowboys' roster is more hype than substance. -- Louis Riddick

Their article could've been titled "These teams don't have a young QB of the future."

Which we don't necessarily need until Romo's done anyways.

If we were to draft "that guy" high in the draft next year, then our "future ranking" would skyrocket.

ESPN can't pick which teams are going to be successful week to week, let alone seasons in advance.

I remember after week 1 of 2014, some of their talking heads were calling us the worst team in the league, a 2 win team, etc.

Now, don't get it twisted; I'm not saying we're guaranteed to be world beaters this year. I'm just saying ESPN doesn't know squat.

And, as it was already mentioned, this is just click bait crap to occupy a dead spot of the summer months.

BLOGGING THE BOYS

As fans of the Dallas Cowboys, we try to stay positive. When projecting for the 2016 season, many Cowboys fans are taking the view that this team is going to be more like the 2014 team, and less like the 2015 team. What happens, though, when the projections are looking forward; instead of using the past to predict the present, what happens when you use the present to predict the future?

That's what ESPN did in an annual exercise they like to call Future Power Rankings. While it may be a click-bait exercise in the dead period to drum up some interest, it's still fun to play along. Well, it would be fun if they didn't hammer the Dallas Cowboys future prospects. What they do is rank each franchise's prospects for the next three years based on five factors - roster, quarterback, coaching, draft, and front office. To accomplish this they use three NFL "experts" in Louis Riddick, Field Yates and Mike Sando..

Damn, that sucks. I was actually looking forward to watching the future, but oh well now…

... I guess I'll start watching badminton or something instead

If ESPN spoke positively about us, im sure there would be way less "BSPN Sucks" in this thread

Yep. Though that really shouldn't shock you on a Dallas Cowboys fan site.

But it's moot, since ESPN doesn't speak positively about the Cowboys as they're selling sensationalism and not actual analysis. There's a reason why their viewership is crumbling month over month, after all. They actually do suck.

i just was watching espn's nfl live and they spent minutes bagging on Darren woodson for being a homer because he picked the cowboys to win the east....The dark haired woman who was hosting was pointing at woodson and saying your the biggest homer...the cowboys they are the worst...

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

When did broadcast tv start using lingo from message board losers? I thought the only people who used the term homer were the dopes who jump from message board to message board attacking anyone who dares to like anything about their team all the while spending more time than anyone complaining about the team they supposedly like?

Its an espn host thing also? Is this common, I never watch espn. Amazing you are not even allowed to say good things about the cowboys on tv even you are a 3x super bowl champion and the organizations all time leading tackler.

how dumb and typical.
