ESPN showing old Romo commercial a lot

Has anyone else noticed just this week they started running the old ESPN Romo commercial a lot? The one where he's at the desk answering phones and checking his arm band for a message, it's atleast 3-4 years old maybe older. I've seen it at least ten times in two days this week while watching Sportscenter etc.

I just thought it was funny/weird, I guess it's "cool" to like Tony Romo again at least for this week.

I saw some crazy stuff on ESPN today. First they were talking up Romo. Saying he learned to not force the ball and take what the defense gives him. Then they said that Jerry was good at drafting and acquiring talent.

Bet they weren't saying that a week ago. I can't stand most of the media, they always just go with the flow of things. If he throws the game ending pick Thursday, he won't even be in their top 16.

Actually media has been higher on Romo the entire year. Us fans believe he hasn't been great.
He is definitely protecting the ball - could easily have only 3-4 Ints this year if it weren't for bad bounces and/or rookie RCVRs. The trade off is he holds the ball, doesn't hit on as many third down plays and doesn't complete as many long ones as he doesn't want to take a risk.
I do think he is slowing down a bit as well...

It's fun to watch. Skin nation getting a taste of what we have dealt with for years. So far Danny Snyder has been quiet but you know he is seething. It's only a matter of time.

I probably exaggerated with the ten times, but I thought it was weird that they all of a sudden started reshowing it this week. I leave ESPN on in the background a lot when I'm doing other things for background noise.

Antonio Ramiro Romo is having the kind of year that will save his skills to be peaking as the season ends not the end of November. Look to see him play closer to the Cowboys/Broncos game come playoff time.

Loved his press conference. He answered a question with another question. Some guy asked him about being a leader and he responded by asking this reporter if he was a leader at his office. I guess it is one of those "ya had to be there" things but I was cracking up. You can see his mental status melting away

So let me get this straight. Analysts says Romo is clutch and a top 5 QB, that Jerry is a good GM, and the Cowboys are going to wear blue at home all in the same week? What world am I living in right now?
