IRVING, Texas -- Only the Oakland Raiders have allowed more points on the first possession of a game than the 41 allowed by the Dallas Cowboys. No team has allowed more than the five first-possession touchdowns the Cowboys have allowed. This is an awful trend Jason Garrett and Rod Marinelli need to fix immediately, especially when you consider the Cowboys’ philosophy this season hinges on getting the lead and using a ball-control offense to keep the defense off the field.
