Don't know if anyone has posted this but I was checking out ESPN The Magazine and they had positional ratings. Different categories for a few positions.

Terry Glenn came in as #2 on the best hands list. They used drop percentage to base it and Glenn came in with a 2.8%. Not sure who was in front of him....off the top of my head, I want to say it was a 49er but not positive.

If this has been posted, my bad and if it hasn't and you guys would like some more of the ratings, let me know. I got plenty of time to throw em out there if you guys like.

it would probably be best to post just the Cowboy rankings, and whoever from our division ranks ahead of them, if any do

thanks

Well, here it is. Its actually their Fantasy preview but here it is.

Reception Party - KC Joyner

Best Hands

1. Arnaz Battle
2. Terry Glenn - Runs deep routes, drops only 2.8% of his attempts - all but guaranteeing two or three breakout games per season
3. Lee Evans
4. Bernard Barrian
5. Eric Moulds

Worst Hands

1. Troy Williamson
2. Donald Driver
3. Terrell Owens - No reciever lost more yards (448) and more TDs (4) to dropped passes than TO.
4. Darrell Jackson
5. Ashley Lelie

Best Deep Threats

1. Lee Evans
2. Chad Johnson
3. Terrell Owens - When he's not dropping them, he's breaking them open (Seven deep/bomb TDs)
4. Bernard Berrian
5. Donte' Stallworth

Best Possession WRs

1. Donald Driver
2. Mike Furrey
3. Andquan Boldin
4. Andre Johnson
5. Lee Evans

Running Start - Christopher Harris

Marion Barber VS. Julius Jones - Bill Parcells' exit means Julius Jones gets to step ouf of the doghouse. That doesn't mean he'll step into Barber's third-down and goal-line roles, as Barber is a more punishing runner and a better reciever. But much like last year, the speedier Jones will get most of the work between the 20s.

Clinton Portis VS. Ladell Betts - There's one nice side effect to all of Portis' injuries. His legs are fresh. that, plus Betts' woeful goal-line performance last season should keep Portis atop the depth chart. Because Betts can catch, look for him to become the change-of-pace and third-down guy.

List only went to 20 and the rest of the NFC East wasn't included.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to post these. Personally, I hate fantasy football, I think its killing loyalty of fans, and entirely to much stock is put into players fantasy stats, but anyway thats just my opinion. Thanks again hoof.

How can Donald Driver have the worst hands and be one of the best possesion receivers too? It seems like a contradiction.

they only did top 10. however, they do have top 10 easiest rushing schedule and dallas wasn't listed so it looks like somewhere middle of the pack.

Jags have the easiest. their opponents are projected to give up almost 18 fantasy points per week. Just thought I would add this to clear up how they are ranking them. Bills have the toughest at a projected 16 per week.

from the looks of it, the criteria for being a possession reciever only includes the number of "short passes" and the yardaged racked up on them. They have Driver as #1 because he was targeted the most on short passes and caught the most yardage on short passes.

Loyalty was killed my Curt Flood and free agency a long time ago. Just enjoy the game, thats the ticket, if you are a fan of a team or a player, makes you no less of a fan of the game.

Owens had 7 deep TD's...I can only remember 3 (Titans, Lions, Falcons)

where was terry glenns' great hands against seattle?

I don't think fumbles are typically seen as the best indicator of hands. Rather, its catching the football. Two different dynamics.

It took great hands to make that goal line catch to begin with. Unfortunately, the defender then popped it out.

In retrospect, Terry's superior hands cost us. Many receivers simply don't make that catch, and therefore, no possibility to fumble.

That was a stupid call imo when they threw to Terry on the goal line after stopping Seattle on the goal. My friend is right ,the call was ok but should have been TO. Hopefully this year they will work TO and Witten into the game plan.
