OXNARD, Calif. -- When the Dallas Cowboys have signed some of their own players to long-term deals, one of the prevailing themes is that those deals make them Cowboys for life. That wasn't the case for Terence Newman. That wasn't the case for DeMarcus Ware. That might not be the case for Tony Romo and/or Jason Witten depending on how the next few years go. The "Cowboy for life," thought is a good one.
