Here's the Cowboys' injury report and what it means:

Left tackle Flozell Adams (shoulder), running back Marion Barber (thigh) and linebacker Jason Williams (ankle) had full participation in practice on Thursday.

Center Andre Gurode (knee) was limited in practice, but said he expects to play Sunday at Kansas City.

Wide receiver Roy Williams (ribs) attended practice but didn't do anything. His status is uncertain, though Williams said he wants to play.

Running back Felix Jones (knee) also attended practice, but just rehabbed. He will not play at Kansas City as the team trainers try to get him ready for the Atlanta game on Oct. 25.

Cornerback Michael Hamlin (wrist), linebacker Curtis Johnson (hamstring) and safety Gerald Sensabaugh (thumb) did not practice. Sensabaugh could play on Sunday, but it appears doubtful at this stage. If he sits, Patrick Watkins takes his place in the lineup.

Coach Wade Phillips said receiver Roy E. Williams doesn't need to practice this week to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

"If he's healthy enough to play, he'll play," Phillips said.

Williams hasn't practiced this week after suffering cartilage damage to three ribs in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos. He said Wednesday that he's planning to play in Kansas City and would ultimately make the decision.

"It's going to be my call," Williams said. "It's my body, nobody else's. I've got to be smart about this thing. If I can go, I'm going to go."

In other injury news, center Andre Gurode (knee) had limited participation in his return to practice.

we need to do a better job of churning the bottom of the roster

sick of guys like Patrick Watkins and Corey Proctor still being on the team

this coaching staff is just lazy

I get the hate for Procter, but Watkins is maybe our best special teamer and can fill in for spot duty at safety. He is the last of our problems.

Right, what's all the dislike for Watkins all of a sudden. It's not like he will be starting the rest of the season. Probably only this game. Sensenbaugh will be back for the Atlanta game, or should. That's when we will need him more than the KC game.

Exactly. He's not very good as a safety, but for two years everyone has *****ed about our special teams being lousy and Pat is a very good special teamer. You can't have it both ways.

The thing that upsets me about Watkins is he is in a position to make a play 90% of the time and he just never does it.

I'm petrified having Watkins out there in coverage. He's always dizzy. You wanna see some more whiffed tackles on any ball carrier? You go get a Pat Watkins.

I got visions of Larry Johnson pulling a McGahee on Watkins. Watch where they attack, it will be anyone who has Pat Watkins covering them. KC's coach knows him and this team well.

If Williams can't go, then Miles Austin will finally get his real audition in the starting line-up. It will be interesting to see how he does.

Wade is such a wuss! If he can play he will play??? Even though he has missed practive all week? Wade sucks and I'm done. Remember if you didn't practice all week with Big Bill? Enough said!

BTW let's home Maurer and the boys don't let Felix over compensate while rehapping......they come in with a hangnail and the next thing you know he's our for the season!!!

If there is a game that #11 should sit out, it's this one. Not because I think KC is a pushover. It's the week before the bye. If the dude is really hurting, Sit him. He will have two weeks to really heal up and be able to go against Atlanta.

I think this KC game is gonna go by the way of the run and defense. I know that #11 is a great blocker. Dallas still has two te's that can block well, so that can be made up.

I say sit him, bring up this ogle dude and see what happens.

I may get crucified for this but I have a strong feeling that there won't be much of a drop off if Miles Austin has to play.

I'm not saying Roy Williams is a bust. I just think he and Tony Romo are not on the same page (Roy Williams even stated it after the Giants game) and I believe Tony Romo is very comfortable throwing the ball to Miles Austin.

If Tony Romo settles down and the "correct" plays are called, I think Miles Austin will be very productive.

Anybody ever get the feeling that somebody like Miles Austin could be fairly productive on a team where he got more playing time.
