ESPN: We are 2-11 in week 17 since 2000 season (worst in NFL)

So this may not be a good sign for next week, we have only finished the season with a win two times since the year 2000. Apparently this is the worst percentage in the NFL over that period.

It kinda did.................I know we have been bad in December, but I didnt realize that we are the worst team in the league in week 17 since Y2K.........................LOL...............thats just embarrassing.

Just curious-- how many week 17 games have been on the road vs at home?

The last several "win or go home" games have all been on the road-- at least going back to the 44-6 shellacking in Philly in 2008. The schedule makers have not done Dallas any favors the past few years.

The last week 17 game we won that I remember is when we beat a hot Philly team in Dallas in 2009, and then whipped them in the playoffs the following week. Good times…

Good point but in the last 4 years we've had 3 meaningful week 17 games. In 2009 we beat the Eagles and in 2011 and 2012 we lost to the Giants and Commanders so that puts us at 1-2. So yeah it's not as bad as the 2-11 record. Hopefully it'll be 2-2 after Sunday night!
