Left tackle Flozell Adams has a nicked shoulder but had full participation in practice on Wednesday. He missed only one play on Monday night. He should play on Sunday.

Running back Marion Barber had limited participation with his thigh injury but coach Wade Phillips said he did more this week than last. Phillips is optimistic he will play on Sunday.

Cornerback Michael Hamlin, broken right wrist injury, is still out.

Outside linebacker Curtis Johnson reinjured his hamstring and did not practice.

Running back Felix Jones didn't practice and will not play on Sunday. Jones was seen limping out of a coaches meeting smiling while reporters talked with Phillips on Wednesday afternoon.

Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware has a neck strain, Phillips thought it happened in the second quarter of the Carolina game, and had full participation in practice. Ware expects to play.

Outside linebacker Jason Williams could play on Sunday at Denver as he's recovered sooner from a high ankle sprain.

Ware has not played up to his high prior level of excellence this year (so far). He has been single covered and yet limited in his effectiveness. Sure hope the injury does not slow him down even more....

A contract year is usually a good year...the year after the big deal is when you see guys drop off. I still expect Ware to have a huge year.

And Flozell may have a tough game this week -- Domervil has been on fire this year with 6 sacks so far. Let's hope he does not try to trip him this week...fines probably should go up as he continues to trip.

its a good thing we have the bye week in 17 days
that will let the players rest up bruises, nicks etc
but dont forget they need to keep working out with weights, staying in shape
