I'm not sure if you guys heard about this contest that ESPN has been sponsoring for most of this year. Anyway, the concept is pretty simple: Pick as many winners in a row that you possibly can. The list of games to pick are as varied as sports itself. You can pick the winners of each game on a daily basis, pick the over/under on the final score, choose the qb that will throw the most TDs, etc. The endstate is to build a streak to reach 25 winners in a row for a cool one million dollars. So far, they have only had two people make it to a streak of 24 before flaming out. That is...until today. Check out the winner and discover what sporting event he chose to get to the magic number of 25:

I can only imagine the bullets this guy must have been sweating up until the final two minutes of the game.

They had the winner on ESPN's "First Take" this morning and it was quite a story. The winner, Sam (aka BigSam), told the interviewer that he thought he'd lost. He turned off the game with the Cowboys up 13-3 in the 4th qtr and went to work. His sister called him later and congratulated him on winning the million dollars. He couldn't finish his shift (after learning of the news) and went home to watch the highlights. This guy was still in a state of shock during the course of the interview as he was trying to relive the moment when he knew that he had won - incredible story.
