Guys since my friend who works for the Cowboys provided such a accurate report on Vanderjaqt ive been constantly bugging him to try and find out some more juicy info on the inner workings of the Cowboys.

I mean hes not a high up or anything , but he said he will try to ask around , as he sees some guys weekly bi weekly who have some knowledge of the inner workings .

So I called him today and he told me that Dallas is really looking at harrington as the second string qb. He said Dallas feels they have a real chance for a Super Bowl this season and would hate to see that go up in smoke if Bledsoe got hurt and no solid second string guy could come in and do the job. ...Seriously....Tony Romo...:lmao2:

anyway he told me it all depends on henson's progress in europe. From what he gathered from a player personal employee directed qouted '' Europe is Drews last chance not only for us but probably for the Nfl, if he doesnt show he's capable playing there then were definatly going to be seriously considering Harrington or drafting a qb in the first few rounds''

You couple that with Jerry saying it might be very interestingif Young drops to 18. Id love us to get Young

anyway that all i have for now , ill try to get some more info if any comes in.

I could have told you that. In fact, I did in a post in another thread just 1-2 minutes ago.

Your friend is an astute customer.....That part says it all right there! I've been saying the same thing for weeks but nobody wanted to listen to me.

Fair enough, glad he's doing well there now. All Dallas fans should be hoping our players get better and reach the upper echelons of the NFL.

Wouldn't you agree ?

Thanks for the info man ....... but I would bet that all the Young talk is just to scare the people below Dallas in the draft ......

If our first pick isnt a O-linemen ...... I will be shocked

His numbers are pedestrian so far, nothing flashy....Henson will have to step it up big time if he wants a roster spot on another NFL team if we choose to cut the cord.

He has as much inside info as my 2 year old.

The ultimate Carter lover is trying to buffalo people. You have to remember that the Henson signing signaled the true thoughts of organization about Carter's future.

Always take "sources" for what they're worth (in this case a counterfeit penny) and take them with a grain of salt.

I can understand a UT fan feeling that way but if the organization does seriously feel it can make a SB run this year then while it will adhere to the "best athlete available" motto when picking they still have needs to address to make the team better right away for that run. Such as a pass rushing OLB to play opposite of Ware, atleast depth at O-line, as well as FS.
These are athletes this team still needs for any serious challlenge this year, we could debate Young's prospects but taking ANY QB pick with our 1st rounder would be a shock given that half the braintrust (BP) certainly doesnt plan on being here to see any results from that pick.

I believe it because I have had the same intuition regarding the Henson situation.....clearly he's in survival mode playing in NFL Europe and he better step it up big time if he wants to stave off elimination!

Europe won't seal his fate, but the draft might. If we go to camp with three QBs, then he's made the team by default. Four Qbs spells trouble.

No, this isn't a Nors ghost although they've both been banned by other boards for posting the same constant monotonous drivel.

It wouldn't shock me if this person and katr were the same person but it definitely isn't Nors.

Sorry, but that has got to be the stupidest post I ever seen coming from a Cowboy fan! The State of Texas doesn't like you either.

P.S. Some of my favorite Texas quotes:

“I shall never surrender or retreat”
William Barrett Travis, The Alamo, 1836

“Texas can make it without the United States, but the
United States cannot make it without Texas!”
Sam Houston, President of the Republic of Texas

“I must say as to what I have seen of Texas, it is the
garden spot of the world, the best land and the best
prospects for health I ever saw.”
Davy Crockett

“What Texans can dream, Texans can do.”
President GW

“Texas is a state of mind. Texas is an obsession.
Above all, Texas is a nation in every sense of the
world.”
John Steinbeck

“I done drew the line. Just like the
Alamo. You’re either on one side of the line or the
other. I don’t want to ever leave Texas again!”
Bum Phillips

“If a man’s from Texas, he’ll tell you. If he’s not,
why embarrass him by asking?”

“Football is to Texas what religion is to a priest.”
Tom Landry

“A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set
of no retreat and no surrender”

“Never forget, son, when you represent Texas, always
go first class”

“Texas shall be free and independent , or we shall
perish in glorious combat.”
Juan Seguins, 1837

"Texas can make it without the United States, but the
United States cannot make it without Texas!
-- Sam Houston, President of the Republic of Texas

Juan Seguin's address at the burial of the Alamo Defenders, February
25, 1837: "Yes, my friends they preferred to die a thousand times rather
than submit themselves to the tyrant's yoke"

So if Henson excels in Europe, Tony Romo drops down to 3rd string while Henson becomes backup? I'm not sure what your source is implying. As it stands right now, if Bledsoe does get injured, we're going to have to rely on one of these quarterbacks.

If we're to make a run, I'm not so sure Parcells is going to rely on one of our backups with zero experience. Then again, I'm not getting the logic of trying to get Harrington who hasn't done jack-doo doo since he's played. He's got receivers to throw to and he's got Greg Jones carrying the rock.

Or have I missed something here?

I wouldn't write his info off...

His past info has been proven to be legit...

BTW, Nors is no longer a member here and he doesn't have an alias. If anyone misses Nors, he can be found at another board.
