not sure what you mean. for the post itself in *this* instance, i spoke too soon - frustrated like most and just moody due to another loss. apologies in order. : )

didn't you have beef w/ Parcells because he wouldn't play ROmo or Henson at the end of the '04 season? cuz we didn't get to find out what we had in them? so why is asking for a 2-game evaluation now, any different?

He doesn't look like a one hit wonder to me.
He looks just like he looked in the preseason game against Seattle when he took all the snaps.
Great field presence, quick decisions, throws the right ball for the right pattern with heat when it is needed and touch when it is needed.
The pass to TO was in the neighborhood of 50 yards in the air and it was perfect.
And everybody's big fear was that he would go gunslinger when things got tough. He hasn't. He ate a couple of sacks today instead of throwing ints or risky passes.
Somewhat lost in the blocked field goal was Romo leading the team into field goal range with very little time. The throw to Witten was a thing of beauty with the pressure on.
There's a good chance Dallas has their QB. Now they just have to address the issues with mistakes by practically everyone else.

Better than anyone could have hoped, even though Palmer did tell Jerry after the Giants game that Romo's performance against Seattle in the pre-season was more like what he could expect out of Romo. That was an eye-opening comment, imo, for the QB coach to make.

The kid has an unbelievably fast release, (I'll dare to compare it to Marino) and he has the coolness and pocket presence of Montana and Staubach.

He's played phenomenly well, imo.

It's already been established that QB is not the problem....both Bledsoe and Romo have made plays but the veteran gave us the best chance considering we are nothing more than a borderline rebuilding team at this point.

but if we don't feel the vet will even get us into the playoffs, why go for it in that scenario vs. letting romo cut his teeth OF WHICH he's going to have to do anyway.

so far i'm much happier w/romo out there than i've ever been w/bledsoe.

9-7 last year with bledsoe (playoff team if we had a field goal kicker)

3-2 this year w/bledsoe starting, down 5 points at half and pulled in the giants game.

1-2 ROMO this year, solid numbers but doing nothing that Bledsoe couldn't

yeah, since we all know how good Bledsoe was at side-stepping the rush, converting 3rd and long situations, and making the best out of busted plays
