What a monumental waste of your own time. I happen to know for a fact that not only do Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu never get beat, they are also capable of ending world hunger and baby rashes, if they so desired.

Honestly, people just look at the Boys in a vacuum. Some players get magnified even more inside that vacuum - and if they screw up, it is the end of the world, because people are just WAITING for them to screw up. I can't explain the phenomenal thrill of being able to say "I told ya so." it just is. And so, you can scream at the top of your lungs begging people to stop viewing Roy, or Henry, or Ware in a vacuum, but there's nothing you can do. All their mistakes are magnified, while their successes are minimized. We had 1800 threads on why we should have drafted Shawne Merriman last year. This year, Ware is a sack and a half off the league lead (trailing a guy who got 6 in ONE GAME), and there aren't nearly as many threads praising his accomplishment.

People love to *****. People NEED to *****.

Let em *****.

Merriman and Ware both have 5.5 sacks.

roidman is nowhere near what he was early last year prior to his suspension. Its getting remarked upon more andmore. Without roids he is very good but that is it. Ware is better- all around.

Yep we know no one is perfect but great players rise up and make great plays in crunch time when it matters when everything is on the line.

That is what separates a SuperBowl winner from a loser you minimize your mistakes and you make the plays when they are urgently needed.

Tony Romo is a guy that has done this time and time again. Ware has done this the tip pass for the int in Buffalo is an example.

I can not remember one big play buy Roy that matter in a season in the last three years that the team was in a tight spot and we needed a big play and he was the catalyst for it.

In fact Henry has done that more than Roy

That is why guys Like Thomas Everett Jame Washington and Kenny Gant (the shark) are still remembered not because they where great players going to the hof because they made the plays when it mattered for the Cowboys helping us to 3 shinny Trophies.

Of course we know the triplets and a certain TE.

So yes players make mistakes and some rise above and make the critical play when it is most important

In 1985 would you please tell me about Walter Payton's great plays in Super Bowl XX? I mean since that is what great players do.

Not even with a healthy secondary we would've not stopped New England on offense but yet you had some fans expecting a short handed secondary to stop them so let them ***** right on as you say.

well if you're gonna beat 'em, you gotta slow 'em down somehow. And actually we did that - not only turned the ball over, but scored a touchdown. If the game was closer it could have come down to a defensive stop, whether they could get it in crunch time, we'll never know. The defense has to play a little better and the offense has to hold on to the ball longer if we're gonna make it to the SB...not to mention special teams. ST, other than the kicker and punter, seems to be a major weakness.

Wasn't he about 40 years old at that time? :)

Sorry for the late response just got back in front of a computer last thing i remember about the 85 Superbowl was Dikita robbing payton of a TD when he helped get them there and got cute with fat boy dt Perry.

The that was 20 years ago so my memory is fuzzy on non cowboy football since i was a teenager and did not watch Football all the time like I do now.

The Player i remember most in that game was Richard Dent i always loved defense when i played football so that is what i watched for back then.

LOL, I love the post that show up every week about how people are overreacting to the piss poor play of the secondary. THEY HAVE BEEN GETTING LIT UP FOR 3 YEARS NOW, this is not a one game thing. The only difference between the NYG/NE games and the other games is NE and NY had QBs capable of getting the football to their WRs. Every game this year there has been WR running free in the secondary.

Dallas has been giving up over 220 yards per game in the air over the last 2 seasons, its not an abberation.

He's right...
