Man, I watch these guys week in and week out and theyre an up and coming bunch. Its about time all these 1st rounders are starting to pay off. Were a year late it appears.

What I say is, instead of that pick we should have gotten Braylon Edwards. He might be one of the 5 best wide recievers in football right now. Just some food for thought. Edwards or the Browns pick? You choose!!!!!!!!!!

Also, the remaining Brown schedule looks like this

6 Oct 14 MIA @ CLE 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 708 110 143

7 Bye

8 Oct 28 CLE @ STL 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 706 125 110

9 Nov 04 SEA @ CLE 4:05 PM Tickets FOX 713 126 125

10 Nov 11 CLE @ PIT 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 707 110 143

11 Nov 18 CLE @ BAL 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 709 118 107

12 Nov 25 HOU @ CLE 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 709 110 143

13 Dec 02 CLE @ ARI 4:05 PM Tickets CBS 714 126 119

14 Dec 09 CLE @ NYJ 4:15 PM Tickets CBS 716 126 119

15 Dec 16 BUF @ CLE 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 704 158 121

16 Dec 23 CLE @ CIN 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 708 125 140

17 Dec 30 SF @ CLE

If Miami can steal a win this week then were in busniess. Theycome off a bye going into winless StLouis with a returning Marc Bulger and Steven Jackson and St Louis should win that one simple because there due. THen the free fall begins. Hopefully. We will see but I really like Clevelands offense this year actually.

Browns will come down to earth. They won two huge divisonal games at home and I give them credit. However, they are hard pressed to win four more games. A 5-11 will give us a top-8 pick.

Edwards was not very good at all until he showed signs last year. He seemed to have some attitude and injury problems. This year, he seems to have put it all together and is having a very nice year.

The Browns are not a horrid team but they are still a bad team who will likely go to Brady Quinn and get worse temporarily.

If they lose this week they may well go to Brady now.

If they win then the schedule is up and down and they could end up say 7-9 or so but is that really in their best interest??? They tossed a load at us to get Brady Quinn and they need to see him play.

They are a young team who wants to move beyond being competitive at some point.

In the end I don't think it matters. We will get a very nice pick from them and use on something other than a RB; likely a CB, or WR.

We may be able to turn the Cleveland pick into Larry Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald > Braylon Edwards

Still plenty of time for the Browns to go into the tank. I'm still hoping for a high pick.

It doesn't make a difference to me. They have already overpaid for the right to pick #22 in last year's draft.

Imagine a team calling you up to offer you a conditional 2nd round pick that could upgrade to a 1st round pick depending on how bad they perform... for nothing in return. That's what they did or what they ended up agreeing to. Even if Cleveland wins the Super Bowl, Dallas gained around the worth of pick #50 in value on those draft value charts for nothing.

How do you figure that?

Also Braylon is a good WR, no doubt about it. And he's showed flashes his entire career with the Browns, they've just always had inept QB's and no running game. He does have an attitude though, which I can sort of forgive him for, I'd have an attitude too if my team was loosing year in and year out.

What is the quickest way to improve a team?

Trade Dallas your first round pick. It worked for Buffalo a couple of years ago. :bang2:

The Browns probably wanted a lot more than Dallas would have been willing to offer to part with Edwards.

Maybe I'm blind, but IMO the Brownies can go 9-7 or 10-6.....They've beaten the Ravens and Cincy already and have exposed their secondary not to mention:

Miami sucks
Arizona is beatable
Seattle is confused
Jets suck
Rams suck
Bills suck
Houston is beatable
49ers suck

With the parity in that division, the Browns could be a playoff team boys

oh you're gonna get some hate mail for this bout of honesty. you see, this *must* be mcfadden and any wavering in this belief the MOB will surround you and call youall sorts of names.

but i agree. this could be a 7-9 team the browns have right now. it's not like last years powerhouses are doing it again this year across the board. they'll both win and lose ones they shouldn't and in the end, i see 7-9 or even 8-8 as pretty doable for them.

I hear ya... well sorta... they are not making playoffs

The NFL Universe has a way of correcting itself during the last 8 games of season.... the Browns are nothing more than a market "correction/adjustment" waiting to happen
