Maybe

Chip Kelly's practices weren't as crazy as we all thought. When Kelly entered the NFL in 2013, he was well-known for his strictly-timed, fast-paced practices that called for players to be moving around almost non-stop for the entire duration of the practice. Apparently, not everyone on the Eagles' roster was a fan of what Kelly was doing. Take Cedric Thornton, for instance. The former Eagles defensive lineman spent three seasons playing under Kelly before signing with the Cowboys in March. After only three months in Dallas, Thornton has noticed some big differences between the way the Cowboys practice and the way the Eagles used to practice. "A lot more aggressiveness, a lot more impact ...

When he said "a lot more impact," in practices, I'm guessing it might mean he was really pooped -- lol.

Sometimes we are over responsive...I read that the intensity level is higher, and even in the camps going on. He stated in a recorded bit, that he had to be in much greater shape for the camps that have gone on this summer. He added, that the coaches require a degree of sweat equity for the players, and get the response that was not the same in Philadelphia.

Well, I don't know how much anybody can read into this to be honest. I mean, there is no contact in the OTAs and Training camp hasn't started yet so I don't know how you would really be able to say one way or the other.

Maybe he's just looking across the line at Smith, Collins, Fredbeard, Martin and Free and thinking to him self, "Man, this is going to be a lot tougher then in Philly....."?

Harris said our practices were a lot more competitive than the Giants as well. It's not a knock it's just what they see..stupid title click baits are getting out of control.

Might be dilusional. Never heard of anyone saying Cowboy practices are tougher than the norm. "Lot more agressiveness"???? Well, certainly not on the field, blokes!

Yes, mate, but it gives us something with which to discuss. Carry on, be a good lad and break up this conversational scrum.

Maybe the sportswriter never actually played football (or sports even) and misinterpreted what Thornton said..?

Nevermind. I don't believe that either.

All players that move from team to team say essentially the same thing. It would be crazy for us to expect them to say "It's a lot easier here than where I came from before".

I have no doubt about this.

Our players work extremely hard. When ESPN showed our practices from TC last year the structure was extremely impressive.

That is what Garrett does. He just pounds fundamentals and thinks he can win at the highest level with only fundamentals.

I just wish we would emphasize X's and O's a little more instead of trying to be workout champs.

He's talking about the minicamp, not training camp. Nice to hear more good things from the players about how things are run in Dallas. Somebody's doing an article on Garrett; they're asking players and coaches for quotes on how he runs things.
