Exactly when do you all suppose we will sign a backup QB???

This is an issue of major importance that has been much talked about on virtually all Cowboy boards. What exactly do you fellas think is going on behind the scenes? Who is on the short list? My thought is that we are scrutinizing very closely just in case it turns out that Romo was a flash in the pan. In that case we need a guy who can play long term and has some proven talent, versus some stopgap journeyman. I have the feeling this may even involve a trade.
I'm curious to the thoughts of others here on this topic.

I think its going to be a veteran...a fairly young one. Harrington or Carr in a trade perhaps.

I didn't say anything about it not being a valid topic. I do feel it has been discussed ad nauseum and that there really isn't anything more that can be said.

My posts had nothing to do with the importance of the topic - it had to do with the re-creation of a thread every single day, rather than just bumping the original. There is little need for there to be a new thread on the same topic every day.

Whatever. I happen to think that this thread is unique and is a valid discussion as I am giving my opinions as to what is going on behind the scenes and wishing to hear what others think. Again, if you don't want to participate in the discussion then by all means butt out. Your replies typically offer nothing but criticism. Did you ever think that by replying you only prolong the life of the thread by bumping it up? There are many, many posts started ont his board that are technically a rehash of a previous discussion. No big deal. Chill out guy, this is a discussion board where opinions are freely discussed. I'm getting a little sick and tired of how a handful of you guys seem to think you are the judge and jury as to what is to be posted around here and what is not. This board has a staff to take care of such decisions. I suggest you adhere to the old expression, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut".

And insanity == repeating the same activity over and over and expecting a different response.

I guess you don't get the notion that no amount of talking on this board or any other is going to influence the speed at which the team decides to do things. Only in your opinion (and the other "brother"s [no racism implied]) is the team down to "crunch time".

It might make you feel better to keep bringing it up, but that is probably about it. The awards for predicting stuff around here are sort of transient in nature. I doubt either of the Joneses will bring it up as a result of your myriad posts on 2-3 unique topics.

With as many on-air personalities as BSPN employs, perhaps they'll take you on. Sort of a Cold French Fries thing.
